Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey is an amazing film. Bruce Broughton’s score for the film is fantastic and uses theme and motif strongly in the soundtrack. His score and its melodies don’t get the discussion they truly deserve. While this video isn’t an analysis, it does show a heartwarming scene with nothing but the music. Take note of how precise the timing of the music is. Clearly a master at work. This soundtrack is one of my biggest inspirations, so I had to share it. Watch the film if you get a chance.
