Vizsla Puppy Training- Teaching Leave It

In this video, I am training the Leave It command with a 7 month old Vizsla puppy. This is one of the puppy's first lesson. Watch the video and then incorporate the techniques to teach your dog the Leave It cue.
Training the leave it is a very useful command for all puppies to learn.

Hey I was gonna ask for some tips my dog knows alot of commands but I made a mistake showing him a treats and most the time he doesnt listen when hes off leash without treats how do I fix this

Hello! your videos are so educational thank you so much for posting all these! I just wanted to ask what can I do with my family’s 1yr old german shepherd. We didn’t get him since he was little so he is untrained and we managed to teach him some basic things like sit, down, stay etc. I am currently trying to teach him how to not pull on the leash following one of your videos. The problem is that he barely follows my commands. He has recognized my father as the most reliable person from our family from the start, but my dad works and can’t train him so I do, but i find it so difficult and tiring because he doesn’t listen to me. I was wondering if there was a way to get him to also listen to me, or my mum or my brother, and not only to my dad. Thank you! (also: we don’t want to bring him to training here bc it sucks, they are not as professional and effective as in other countries, they barely teach dogs anything)
