  • The cool thing about Nvidia flex is that you can pretty easily override it, and get a fairly complex particle system on GPU with almost no GLSL.
    But I'm getting ahead of myself, here I'm just going to show you the basics, so stay tuned for that part 2!

    Amazing tutorial! I do have a problem: I did exactly what you did with the colours, but it's not visible, only a few particles. How do I increase the intensity/amount of the coloured particles?

    • @remainzz
      @remainzz ปีที่แล้ว

      I had this question and solved it by Swapping out the constant mat for a point sprite and adjusting the Constant point scale

      Checkout the render tab, there's a field for material, try drop it there. Also, try resetting the actor comp.

    Hi. Am I right in thinking this isn't available on Mac OS?

    • @noonesimg
      @noonesimg  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately, not. Here's a quote from the docs: "macOS does not support Nvidia GPUs at this time so this feature is only available on Windows OS with a Nvidia GPU."

      @@alexandraganiari706Make sure that the add and convert SOPs are connected to the Actor comp and that they do create a point for the Actor comp to use. Also on the general tab, there's an update collision Shape button that you can click. Not 100% sure though, because I've never encountered such an error.
