Everyone who haven't qualified for IIT or not tried to qualify for IIT , thinks this....there are no one sorrounding us who inspired us to go for it...But when our younger generation did it we thought that why I didn't do this....many of our parents told to do graduation or engineering or any of other courses..but unluckily then many of our parents doesn't know about it....

IIT is my school if I don't get into an American school like Stanford, MIT, University of Washington, or CMU
This IITIAN guy who said I will pay for the remaining 40% of the girls made a mistake in mathematics. if you have 10/100 girls now, you need to add 80 more girls to make the ratio 50/50 and they are not 40% of new girls but 44%. So basically you need to pay for 44% of the new girls. This simple mistake with confidence shows what is wrong with the Indian concept of IITs and the entire social structure built around it and hence the fact that none of the IITs feature in top 100 forget top 10.

I meant the syllabus is Sam in all other colleges in India, and only few percent from iit make theirs own companies, but there are many examples of people who have studied in other colleges and are more successful than the so called IITians , iit is just a business and to discriminate people who don’t score good . F this iit , it doesn’t matter from which college you study if your really creative at what you do you can definitely be successful in life , then hire this iit asholes and fire them . Then you can show them what people other who study other than iit can do .

all u do in Iit is study its like if u get less 5.6/10 score in a subject u need to give a re exam.Then other things that u gonna be single at 4 of your main college life.girls r there but they r nerds if u know what i mean.Its like u need to sacrifice everything and study and do that shit.And if u dont become successful after doing IIT u ll regret.After all even if u become rich later u ll regret wasting your life doing Iit and nit having fun.IIT is for people who never had friends and dont need any socail interaction.After all getting good grades doesnt make you smart.At IIT u ll find zombie-like people who only talk qbt studies and those events r like u dont even know r going.tjey r basically shit.my school events used to be way more cooler.IIT is not evryone's cup of tea.

you people are completely "FALTU" and don't have any skills and only theoretical knowledge and most of them came from RUBBISH coaching institutes running throughout INDIA which killed the innovative ideas of students in that age who really want to develop themselves in all ways (fields) .The standards of these institutions are equivalent to polytechnic colleges in developed countries where those people understand the importance of creativity of students and they try to develop innovative ideas in them but here nothing such happens and not even a single institute is in WORLD CLASS RANKING .The government and MHRD do not have any kind of vision how to develop and innovate students and grow them in stress free environment .You people just mug (byheart ) the subjects and score marks in exam (CGPA).
These sentences are generally said by those people who can't get to IIT. BUT I am supposing you are at a good college now, if you read only articles, news about Institutions, then you are probably gonna say this, Man you have to seek every information about IIT. They are not what you think, They innovate ideas man. And GPA don't count much, the skill counts.

degree can't make a person smart, look on bill Gates, Einstein etc etc....
They didn't get a college degree and they are exceptionally talented.
But getting a college degree is an indication of how hard working and skilled he is, because not everyone is capable of going into IIT. Very few study by avoiding distractions at their teenage.
Dear Aryan Kashyap, I think that if quality knowledge is provided only in limited institutions then there is a lack of innovation and develpment of country because everyone of us is having the same brain (1400gm) hence ,if you look to other developed countries then they will focus on development of students in pratical way rather than theoretical and as a result they are well advanced in technology .It's not the case that getting in IIT means it's a very big deal but rather if "QUALITY "in education is maintained same everywhere then our country will progress a lot .

Chemical engineering - ICT BOMBAY
My seniors said that ICT is a better place to do chemical engineering than some IIT
IISc Bangalore, In terms of Research alone, IISc Bangalore is better than IITs. THey focus more on Research activities.
ISM Dhanbad, and many more.
And we can't say that there are not much quality institutions in India, in developed countries there are more good Universities but Many talents are selected from our country.
