  • Bolu Yedigöller is another beautiful place in Autumn. What to do in and around the national park? Where to visit? We viewed it for you.
It is preferred for activities such as picnic, resting, photographing, doing sports and camping with its quiet and calm environment, beautiful landscapes, walking paths, waterfalls, slopes decorated with various kinds of plants and trees.
    Yedigoller in Autumn
In October and November, the leaves turn into eye-catching colors from yellow to orange to red. Not just a part of the park, but starting from the entrance, all paths and the surrounding of the lakes are colorful and fascinating. Autumn season is everyone's favorite for Yedigöller. Especially on weekends, there is no place to step in the park.
    Where is Yedigoller?
Yedigöller, located in the Western Black Sea Region, is 42 km. It is a national park located in the north. Yedigöller Basin, which is 1642 hectares in size, was formed as a result of sliding masses blocking the valleys.
Yedigöller National Park area is connected to each other by surface and underground flows, 1500 m from north to south. It consists of 7 lakes arranged in a distance.
The lakes that make up the Yedigöller
    1-Big lake
    2-deep lake
    3-Cool lake
    4-Nazli lake
5-Dry lake (also known as small lake)
It is called a dry lake because it is without water most of the time.
    6-Fine lake
    7-Reed lake
While there are camping areas around Derin lake and Nazlı lake, there are also bungalow accommodation places to stay in different places (such as Habitat, Pisigor houses).
Public parking for the car next to the deep lake. When you park the vehicle here, you start your tour from the Büyük lake and its surroundings and go up. When you come with one-day tours, they drop you off at the top entrance. Then, starting your tour around İnce Lake and its surroundings, you go down from Nazlı Lake.
The national park, which contains many plant species, has the most beautiful, mixed natural forests of our country. The main tree species, beech, hornbeam, oak, alder, maple, elm, aspen, yellow and black pine, fir, hazelnut, linden and ash trees, are tall and have smooth trunks.
It is possible to see the lakes and the unique landscape beauties by going up to the "Kapankaya viewpoint" in Yedigöller National Park. There is an Atmaca observation terrace and a monumental tree on this route. Also, the deer breeding station in the national park can be visited.
    Kapankaya viewpoint,
Assuming you come from Bolu, it is the first beauty you will encounter after the winding roads. The altitude is 1298 meters, and the vast forest cover is unique! It is reached after 90 steps, but it is really worth it. From the terrace with panoramic view, Büyükgöl, Nazlıgöl, Deringöl stand in front of you with all their beauty. We say don't pass by.
    Atmaca viewing terrace,
It is a few minutes ahead of Kapankaya and just above the road. It will be a great pleasure to stop for a few minutes and breathe the fresh air, to watch the giant trees and to see the color transitions of nature.
    Anitcam,
A kilometer or two after Atmaca observation terrace, it is a little inland of the road. You will see the Anıtçam sign on the road. This 500-year-old tree can be reached on foot from the wooden platform. The Larch Tree has been standing there for years, like a monument, with a height of 30 meters and a trunk of 5.5 meters.
Smiling rocks, Waterfall, Wishing fountain and Pythagorean tree are located between Nazlı lake and Derin lake. The path of the waterfall is a little bumpy but not too difficult. It's just a little challenging when the ground is wet. You must have suitable walking shoes.
When to go to Yedigöller National Park
Every season tastes good in Yedigöller. Are you going to take beautiful pictures? For camping or trekking? The appropriate time for each varies. In our opinion, autumn and spring are a little more beautiful than other times.
Is there an entrance fee to Yedigöller National Park?
Yes, it is paid. Entrance fee by car is 33.00 TL. This price is for the year 2022.
The price is variable depending on the size of the vehicle. There is an additional fee for tents and caravans for camping in the park. You can find out the current prices by calling the National Park.
