I for one am tired of how the media inflates Tomlin as such a great coach. Chuck Knoll had a 4 year spell in between playoff wins. Bill Cowher had a 3 year spell in between playoff wins. Tomlin is now staring down 8 years without a playoff win. I can't even credit him for the SB win in 2008. That team was built by Cowher, and still retained many of the Cowher tenured coaches and staff. So Mediocre Mike inherited a winning team and formula. And if it weren't for some breakdowns in defensive coverage on the last drive, and some spectacular plays by Santonio Holmes and Big Ben, they would have lost that game too. Tomlin ain't the guy. Never will be.

Complete nonsense. There were about 40 different players and staff from Cowhers SB, and Tomlins SB teams. Including I may add ken whisenhunt, who was Cowhers OC, and went to be the HC that Tomlin played against in 43. And also, I remember Nolls 80's Steelers,...... The two have the same w/l record 1-1, no matter how many playoff games were or were not won. They also have about the same win% @.619 -.618.

Empty stats. Only one first down in the first quarter. I think they only crossed the 50 yard line once in the first half, if at all. No points in the first half. When the defense adjusted in the second half, the Ravens only scored once. There were so many 3-and-outs on offense that Russ didn't score enough to keep up. 14 points in a playoff game from an offense led by Russ on the field. And Arthur Smith had plenty of pass catchers open, but Russ didn't use the intermediate parts of the field. It's completely below the bar.

At some point the Steelers need to figure out what their priorities are. Win 10 games and get bounced first round, or draft the future franchise QB. Running it back is just going to delay that another year. Steelers need to become sellers and acquire draft picks to get the future QB and build around him. Their current business model is outdated. What used to be one of the flagship teams in the NFL is out of touch with how to build a team in 2025.

Look at the list of QB's the Steelers drafted/signed from 2008 - 2021. It's not like they didn't try.
      Drafted Quarterbacks:
2008: Dennis Dixon (5th Round, 156th overall) - A dual-threat QB from Oregon, he spent time as a backup and started a few games.
2013: Landry Jones (4th Round, 115th overall) - Played as a reliable backup for several years.
2017: Joshua Dobbs (4th Round, 135th overall) - Known for his intelligence and mobility, Dobbs was a solid depth option.
2018: Mason Rudolph (3rd Round, 76th overall) - Expected to be a potential successor to Big Ben.
      Signed Quarterbacks:
      2010: Charlie Batch (Re-signed) - A long-time veteran and fan favorite.
2012: Byron Leftwich (Re-signed) - Another experienced veteran who backed up Big Ben.
2015: Michael Vick - Signed to bring veteran presence and versatility to the QB room.
2019: Devlin “Duck” Hodges - Undrafted free agent from Samford who became a cult hero for his unexpected success.
2021: Dwayne Haskins - Former first-round pick signed to rebuild his career and provide depth.

Spend that money on offense and let Tomlin prove he’s actually good on his side of the ball. Otherwise he’s just a good public speaker

Steelers ownership doesn't spend a lot of money on their players. Now occasionally ownership will spend money on lesser players to make sure they have a winning product on the field. So the Steelers are not the cheapest owners in the NFL. That title goes to Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys. That why Bookie's in Las Vegas where telling me Dallas last year and year before that they had no chance of winning the Super Bowl.

Why are they speaking as though Russell Wilson was the problem? Five weeks ago, the Steelers were being referred to as possible Super Bowl contenders. It seems to me that where the team has fallen off since then has been in mostly in the defense and in the running game. From the start, the Steelers were considered a good match for Wilson BECAUSE they had the defense and the run philosophy, so that he wouldn't have to be relied upon to play Hero ball. To my mind, it isn't Wilson who's failed to meet expectations.

On the Kirk Cousins staying in Atlanta I don't understand why this issue keeps coming up all the time on this show about needing to get rid of Veteran QB's with guaranteed money and or a huge dead money hit. Baring the QB being a cancer in the locker room what's the downside to having them on the sideline mentoring and ready to go in when the young guy gets hurt. If you can trade them sure go ahead but who's going to agree to that trade? Teams are going to have to pay them regardless so why pay a guy to leave and then have to pay a completely different guy the veteran minimum or more to backup the young guy you decided to go with over your high paid veteran. It doesn't make sense in a league where teams end up cash strapped and having to scramble to come in under the cap. Penix won't be eligible for a contract for 2 more seasons, just keep Cousins and let him collect his money you have to pay him anyway and have a reliable backup.

Why not have one of the offensive lineman get up in front of a microphone and have them explain wtf is going on? Why not ask TJ, uhhhhhh... are sacks not your thing anymore? people who say Tomlin is still a great coach need to explain how a great coach in the league for 18 years with one team HAS ZERO COACHING TREE WHATSOEVER in the league lol even Frank Reich has a coaching tree... not one assistant or coordinator who came up through Tomlin's staffs have ever gone on to a HC job in the league, not even an OC / DC job... nobody learns anything about football working under him, he doesn't operate on any philosophical schematic concept that other teams try to emulate, he's literally become nothing but catch phrases and gaslighting and the way he's automatically and blindly defended by just about everyone shows what an elite gaslighter Tomlin has been lol
even just look at the Cowher era, it was all about toughness and grit and smash mouth football, now it's about hot head malcontent divas throwing tantrums while Tomlin makes excuses for them and lets guys do whatever they want... explains why once Cowher's players dried up from the roster, so did Tomlin's playoff success
and we SERIOUSLY gotta stop acting like Tomlin drags all these scrub teams to the playoffs when they consistently have by far the most expensive defense in the league and have top paid star players at every level of the defense every year, had the Killer B's era with absolutely elite offensive production, again stop letting Tomlin gaslight everybody like this
