This sounds like part of a black Butler soundtrack but in Korean, I feel that way because at the beginning of this Nightcore version for some reason I have this Victorian era vibe from the music, this great I really wish it was part of black Butler's soundtrack!

I love your questions! And yeah, the "nightcores" nowadays are just a sped up and high pitched version of a song. The original nightcores aren't like that though. Yeah, it gave that "should be cooler" vibe since it's a nightcore, but unfortunately, the "nightcores" with that sped up and high pitched edit were the considered "nightcores" these days. I wish, I can make them sound cooler but if I add more, it's not the considered "nightcore" anymore. But yeah, I got your point. :)
And I don't really know why there are so many nightcore versions of a song, maybe because people have different "type" of what they can consider a good nightcored song for them. Personally, I love songs that are upbeat and lively. My favorite songs turned into something that have upbeat tempo, that's the bomb for me. I love the song more because it exactly fits my taste. That's one of the reasons why I like nightcore that I decided to make my own nightcores of my favorite songs. Another reason for me, Anime songs introduced me into the world of nightcore. The voices reminded me of those osts of the animes, so that's why I started listening to more nightcores. But this is just my personal opinion, I don't know why a lot of people like it though.

It's just something that I can't really understand because I'm not gonna like a song better if it's faster and higher pitched because it still has the same feel so nothing changes at all for me. It's kinda like the whole "3D audio" thing going on right now. If anything it just confuses my ears. I think what confuses me most is that there seems to be a huge overreaction to it, as if it's a completely new version of the song, like I Need U vs. the remix on the young forever album, when I just see a couple tweaks in sound editing software. Kinda like how some people praise reaction videos XD
