The income of the people of this sector is based on animal husbandry, horticulture, and simple labor. Gardening water in the Palangan district is supplied by the river, deep wells, and springs. All kinds of horticultural products, traditional poultry farming, livestock, and dairy products - which also have an export aspect - and handicrafts, are among the most important products of this region.
The "Hazar Daf" group played the call of mercy in the ancient village of Palangan, and mystical groups performed. Daf is one of the mystical instruments that has a high status among Kurdish people and this instrument is played in religious and mystical ceremonies. This year, after Eid al-Fitr, the Daf Navai Rahmat ceremony was held in the historical village of Palangan with the presence of Daf players from all over Iran. Palangan village is one of the sightseeing places of Kurdistan province. The spectacular and amazing village of Palangan, which is considered a national heritage of the country, has a beautiful and spectacular nature in a mountainous area.
