Oh my gosh! Thank you for sharing your brilliant and "very useful idea for every man".
How on earth did you come up with such a Genius Idea? Your craftsmanship and shop skills... where did you learn to use a pencil for marking lines like that? Not to mention the dexterity you displayed using that phillips screwdriver. And wow, applying the glues and sealers...I am so impressed when I see someone stay inside the lines!
I have to say, I was nothing short of awestruck, as I watched you with the random orbit sandpaper disc in your hand. It never dawned on me to use a sandpaper disc without the electric sander. Not having to hear the annoying sound of an electric sander is one thing, but the savings on electrical usage is another.
But whoa, just think about the future...when on your next sanding project, you can duct tape the vacuum hose to your wrist, and voilà, dust free sanding! I can hardly wait for the next Genius and "very useful idea for every man".
It made me nervous watching you without a push stick while using your table saw. But then, after seeing you with all 10 digits intact, realized that I have no right to criticize or complain.
Speaking of complaining, I can not believe how many people complained about wasting their time, especially when they had no idea what you were doing, or whether or not you were wasting your time. I just don't get it. Some people are just so darned selfish, and they only think about their own self.
I am not sure what I liked most, your video, or the comments. Generally speaking, I am not much of a joiner, however, I think I will subscribe to your channel to see what kind of "ideas para el cabello" you come up with.
Thank you again for sharing, and keep them coming! Hasta Luego, Vaya Con Dios

At 1:58 into this video, you are showing crosscutting a 3" wide piece of plywood using the fence as the only guide. This is one of the most dangerous practices you can do on the table saw. Why? The width of the workpiece that is registered against the fence is too narrow for good control. If it should twist at all, with your hand holding it between the fence and the blade, your fingers will be drawn across the spinning blade resulting in their amputation. DO NOT DO THIS! For crosscutting short lengths on narrow pieces, use the mitergauge with an extended wood fence bolted to the face.
The fence will be cut up into it the first time you use it, but it should be tall enough 3" or 4", to still maintain support. The portion to the right side of the blade will carry your cut off past the blade as you feed it and your fingers will be no where near the blade. Make one of these ASAP! You are flirting with DANGER! See the post just below this one .......

And just to clarify my prior comment, the way you are cutting on the table Saw is what is stupid.. Don't take your safety for granted..Take it from someone who wishes they had all ten of there finger tips back.. AND that came from being safe and using push blocks.. It can happen in any situation but your more likely to get by with a less serious injury if your doing all you can to perform the cut as safe as possible..

An extreme amount of work for a vacuum cyclone.
Buy PVC pipe fittings close to the size of your vacuum hose.
Get any bucket or drum with a top. On one edge of the top put a 90 degree fitting inside the bucket aligned with the side of the bucket and
use a short piece of pipe to pass through the lid with another 90 bend on top facing away from the bucket. Glue and seal these fittings together. You may have to put caulk or silicone around the fitting to keep it from moving..
Install another 90 degree fitting on top of the center of the lid with a short piece of pipe passing through the top connected to a straight coupling inside the center of the lid. Attach the center fitting to your vacuum and the outside fitting to your collection hose.
Once you have the bucket and fittings you can do this almost as fast as you can read it. Total cost about fifteen dollars, if you don't have the pipe and PVC solvent it might cost twenty dollars and a lot less time.

Well first of all whoever is doing this work has never been professionally taught the safe practices of use on a table saw.
1...blade should only be 1/4” above cutting surface
2...a push stick should be used when sawing a piece smaller than 4” so your hand is safely away from the rotating blade.
3...your right hand shouldn’t be pushing the object through the blade along with your left hand as you could inadvertently push faster thus causing the right side of the wood piece to bind on the back side of the blade and cause kick back. He has his anti-kick back installed but still shouldn’t take chances.

Obviously a nicely-equipped shop! Personally, I wouldn't go to the trouble of making a shop vac, however, it was suspenseful in trying to figure out the end-product. Just enough finger-saw blade proximity to add the element of morbid thrill. Therefore, a "suspense thriller" video. "I especially like the part where..."

You nailed it, pardon the pun. I was kind of waiting for fingers to start flying. What I began thinking is this guy has at least a thousand dollars in saws (table and band saw) and he's making his own shop vac? WTF... but like others have said, it's all click bait.

Why not build it onto the lid of a 55 gallon trash can? Then you don't ever have to empty it. Just put it out my the curb for the garbage man to come empty it lol

buy a dust deputy cyclone, a 5 gallon pail, and a shop vac and save yourself a ton of frustrating work! Narrate your video and tell what the heck you are building and why.

Hey, I know that this video was about how to make something with what you have laying around. Good idea for someone who likes to tinker with things. I know you know, but do be careful with the saw. I personally know someone minus a finger because of one. I was intrigued as to what you were making, so watched to the end. Made me laugh because I didn't figure it out until then. Anyway, thanks.
