I try to express new ideas, but they never go through to the teachers. I use to be a quiet student who didn’t participate in anything, but now, even after things putting me down, I still keep going because of this song
Nice! I don’t like singing because when I built the courage up the last time, I embarrassed my whole self with a voice crack from going high. I sang on the stage lately and I just felt like I sang so bad that I just was the first one off stage and sat in the storage closet. But I’m scared if I perform in front of the school since it’s my dream that I will embarrass myself again. My self esteem is very low but I’m not giving up :)

The Script is the furthest thing from One Direction. They're much older and mature as is their music. Most of there music is about real struggles they faced and if you ever seen them live you would know they face many struggles such as financial issues.
I think it’s not fair to compare young artists with artists who have been in the music industry for a long time like the script + one direction weren’t really writing their music in their early eras, but if you listen to their last album (called Made In The AM), which they wrote and produced, you’d change your mind (at least a little bit if it’s not your taste) I’m a fan of both tbh, they both make inspiring music.

This has to be one of the scripts best songs (after hall of fame) I know not many people like this song or consider it to be the best from them but I actually really like this song to be honest. Oh yeah I completely agree with you but we are talking about the script... all of their songs are very good just some tip the scales for most people as amazing than good. This is one of their good songs but not their amazing ones. But there is an entire album coming out which will be fulled with the best most amazing songs and lyrics. Coming back here and this feels so nostalgic regardless of how much better they can be or not be. This one is one of their recent classics imo (even though it’s been 7 years, at least when I’m typing this).
This song is a reminder to me that being different is a good quality...I have a VERY rare genetic disorder (only 3,000 known cases worldwide). I get bullied and questioned about what is wrong and I get treated as "special" even though it doesn't affect my mind...but this makes me who I am and I wouldn't be me without it. I've learned over the years that I'm a people person and just because I'm different doesn't make stop me from anything. When I was born, my parents were told I would have to be in special education classes and I would be disabled. When I started kindergarten they took a risk and put me in mainstream schooling. I struggled in regular classes. It took me a while before I could read and write. Years down the road and now I'm taking advanced classes. I can walk and talk and be a normal teenager, which the doctors said there was no chance I could do. Moral of the story: we all have struggles but they only benefit us in the long run and they mold us into stronger people.
This is such an emotional song it makes me cry every time I listen to it, such a self empowering song and inspiring! Thank you to the script for such an amazing song :)
I know some real superheroes I am in a day program with about 50 of us who shouldn't be here on this earth either we tried to take our lives by pills, drugs or a blade. They have had some real bad shit happen to them and it is amazing that they have the courage to push when all the odds are against them to me they are what hero's are made of.

This has to be one of the scripts best songs (after hall of fame) I know not many people like this song or consider it to be the best from them but I actually really like this song to be honest.
It is so damn inspirational. I used to hear this as a little kid and as a kid who would dream of achieving great things in life as superheroes do, it really meant a lot to me.

It's not that it's a bad song, it's just that when you've been listening to their music from the start, you know they're capable of much better
Oh yeah I completely agree with you but we are talking about the script... all of their songs are very good just some tip the scales for most people as amazing than good. This is one of their good songs but not their amazing ones. But there is an entire album coming out which will be fulled with the best most amazing songs and lyrics. So this is a good song but it's not the better of all of them.

This song is a reminder to me that being different is a good quality...I have a VERY rare genetic disorder (only 3,000 known cases worldwide). I get bullied and questioned about what is wrong and I get treated as "special" even though it doesn't affect my mind...but this makes me who I am and I wouldn't be me without it. I've learned over the years that I'm a people person and just because I'm different doesn't make stop me from anything. When I was born, my parents were told I would have to be in special education classes and I would be disabled. When I started kindergarten they took a risk and put me in mainstream schooling. I struggled in regular classes. It took me a while before I could read and write. Years down the road and now I'm taking advanced classes. I can walk and talk and be a normal teenager, which the doctors said there was no chance I could do. Moral of the story: we all have struggles but they only benefit us in the long run and they mold us into stronger people.

I know some real superheroes I am in a day program with about 50 of us who shouldn't be here on this earth either we tried to take our lives by pills, drugs or a blade. They have had some real bad shit happen to them and it is amazing that they have the courage to push when all the odds are against them to me they are what hero's are made of.
