It would've been great if they learned the reason why Daki stabbed the Samurai.
The reason: The samurai insulted Daki or Ume's brother which made her furious.
afaik Daki stabbed the guy in the eye with a comb for insulting her and her brother

the cruel hashiras(on your first impression) have the agonizing/tearful backstory such as Obanai(the one with the snake), the wind hashira(sht, i forgot his name---the one who stab Nezuko) and so on.

this episode is bitter sweet especially when it showed the bond between Ume and Gyuutaro as well as when she chose to stay with him despite that it was the opposite way (Hell) all that aside I agree with guy who said that the show was good

I could be assuming too much but I love how Gyutaro did the blood demon art post head being severed. I don't think it was something HE did but it seems like it was his body having a fight or flight type reaction. Its insanely cool because it seems like a demon blood art isn't a technique. It is a natural function of a demons body.
Edit: Also the subtitles on this episode are pretty bad. They make it sound like Ume stabbed the samurai for no reason but it was out of self defense because he was trying to sexually assault a fuckin 13 year old.
