One of my all time favorites from Aaron Tippin! It always brings me back to the Fall of 1998 when it came out. Sadly, they just don't come out with country love songs like this anymore. This song was also the first time I really noticed how deeper and more mellow his voice had gotten, compared to higher pitched, Hank Sr. like voice in his earlier songs.

Most country song nowadays are about partying at the bar, girl that you take home, about their mustang, drinking beers, etc. Gone are the days that country songs tells us stories about life, love, faith, experiences, etc. Music evolution is inevitable but these new country songs sounds the same with same storyline.
The music goes to the highest bidder. Pop sells more than country. Sad but true. Just thank the good Lord you know what real country sounds like and not told what it sounds like. Thank you youtube for this and all the hidden treasures of real country music.
