Karnataka
Karnataka is a state in the southwestern part of India. In the distance are the Kadri Temple, St. Aloysius Church, Sri Gokarnatheshwara Temple, Suratkal Lighthouse, and Saravu Maha Ganapati Temple.
Belgaum:
Belgaum, also known as Belagavi, is located in the Western Ghats at an altitude of about 2,500 feet above sea level. Belgaum is not only a trading center for food grains, sugarcane, cotton, tobacco, oilseeds, and dairy products but also a power loom industry that employs weavers. The Belgaum Fort houses centuries-old mosques and the Kamal Basti, a Jain temple. In the city center is the 1950s Mahadev Temple. Apart from these, there is an ancient Kapileshwara temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Pink-Stone St. Mary's Church with Gothic arches carved in teak and marble and an altar.
