    If you are looking for something to reduce the symptoms of your seasonal allergies, I have a great natural remedy for you. It’s called "I Want To Feel Better NOW!" Essential Oil Inhaler for Allergies, and it’s so easy to make at home!
    It can last a couple months, and you can use it over and over again.
    This is a recipe that I share on my webinar “Aromatherapy for Natural Living: Reduce Allergies Naturally”. Here’s how to make this allergy relieving inhaler:
    Blank Inhaler (you can find some here)
    Organic Cotton Wick
    5 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)👉 www.aromatics....
    5 drops of Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)👉www.aromatics....
    5 drops of Cedarwood Essential Oil (Juniperus virginiana)👉www.aromatics....
    Just drop the essential oils directly on the cotton wick of the inhaler, and then take a deep breath to feel relief!
    "I Want To Feel Better NOW!" Essential Oil Inhaler contains some of my favorite essential oils for allergies.
    Tea Tree essential oil reduces infection and congestion and is supportive of your immune system. Lavender essential oil calms inflammation caused by sinus infections, plus it’s so soothing and calming! Cedarwood essential oil is also very calming and it nourishes your respiratory system.

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Lou! Essential oil substitutions always depend on the issue at hand, the intention of the blend, the person’s age, health, preferences… and so many other factors! In the "I Want To Feel Better NOW!" inhaler, you could substitute Cedarwood with Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis).
      Enjoy!

    Which type of cedarwood do you use most it's hard to choose just the right one am currently loving using Atlas Cedar

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question, Angela! We are using Cedarwood (Juniperus virginiana) in this recipe, but you are welcome to substitute it for Atlas Cedarwood. Atlas Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica) belongs to the Pinaceae family and has a different yet equally wonderful aroma. 💜

    Hi Andrea. I am just wondering if I can use Texas Cedarwood in this recipe?

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Texax cedarwood (Juniperus ashei) can be used in place of the cedarwood (Juniperus virginiana). The aromas are very similar, April.

    Can I use this for my 5 year old child, thankyou

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Veta! It's important to be mindful of using essential oils safely with children and we're glad you're aware of this. This blend would be safe for children 5 years old and older. We'd recommend dividing the number of drops used in half though. You could try:
      3 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)
      3 drops of Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)
      2 drops of Cedarwood Essential Oil (Juniperus virginiana)

    • @vetalazaridis
      @vetalazaridis 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes of course we always have to be mindful with children. Thankyou Andrea I will try his with my child.

    How many drops is recommended for 4 years old?

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Shenalisa our recommendation is about 7 drops of oil per inhaler for children between 5-12 years. If you feel your child is old enough to use an inhaler, you could use 2 drops of each essential oil.
      Alternatively, you could diffuse essential oils. Here is the kid-friend version of "The Conifer Crew’s “Allergy Away” Diffuser Blend" from Andrea's book "The Heart of Aromatherapy"
      1 drop Hemlock essential oil (Tsuga canadensis)
      1 drop Piñon Pine essential oil (Pinus edulis)
      1 drop Black Spruce essential oil (Picea mariana)
      2 drops Orange (Sweet) essential oil (Citrus sinensis)
      Do you have her book? There are over 100 recipes and each recipe has a kid-friendly version. The book is available for purchase here: www.aromatics.com/products/book-the-heart-of-aromatherapy
