Same problem with my engine i give it at hard smash with hammer on crowbar so tensioner hold a bit stronger, it hold around 6 weeks then smash it again😀. Cheers from swede
@@bestysbits2071 just spoke to guy at pace vw connections truro he said have to raise van front then support engine ready to loose engine mount and grease tension mount and tensioner arm like u did also looking from underneath engine mount bracket and on my spare engine can see bolt underneath bracket have to undo.well here goes 😀
@@bestysbits2071 I’ve had a go I lowered engine off engine Mount but it won’t go lower as driveshaft rests on suspension arm I could just see lower mount bolt but thought be tricky to do anything else so gave up
