The album after this, “With roots above and branches below” is my favorite album by these guys, also if you haven’t heard the band Chiodos before, I think you would really like them!
gotta get to sky eats airplane if you aren't somehow familiar. they were super ahead of the curve on a lot of things around this same time on their first two albums.
Out of their early stuff (before Roots & Branches) my main go tos would be Rosemary Had An Accident and Modify The Pronunciation. Both are from the debut album and both of them are just awesome.
Definitely not my favorite TDWP album (I prefer the more polished chaos on With Roots Above & Branches Below) but the atmosphere and the heaviness on this record alone helps it stand out amidst their ever changing catalogue.
Maybe unpopular opinion for TDWP fans, but Dead Throne is my favorite album front to back. Space EP is also a good album experience. Like both of those albums do not work as well as pulled out singles.
The album is sick, but I honestly didn’t like his high screams. They sorta downgraded after zombie. Then his highs became good again around 8:18/space ep, but his lows downgraded. Just my opinion

You should check out their “Zombie” EP. That shit is HEAVY .
I think With Roots Above and Branches Below is the best and most intense album by them.

dead throne is cool. i kinda fell off of them after that tho. plagues was theee one for me!
