yeap, but they were using special motors in their cars though, More Specfically the GSM i think, it had a total of 530+hp. haha regardless of the motors, they still pack a punch. :)

They used replicas that matches the performance. They used the real cars for the visual scenes.

There are probably reasons for that:
1. It is based on first NFS games where exotic cars are the only available in these games
3. It took place in America where muscle car originate and exotic cars are more used than JDM cars.
3. To make something new bcoz JDM cars are overused in racing films especially F&F series so they get full attention to the most of the people. So they use only muscle and exotics (supercars) in the film.
