Enjoyed seeing and hearing the experience of taking trains around Japan. Japan is one of the few places we may travel so far to see in Asia so nice to get a sense of getting around there. Looks like I would be using my phone to translate. Thanks and happy weekend to you Lyndon👍. Kind regards, Mike
Trains a subway lines ect always fascinate me (how similar engineering problems are dealt with in different countries) Japanese 🇯🇵 trains seem very efficient and have a nice mix of transport to get around Great film Lyndon 👌🏻 Best regards Simon
Some great train and station footage, Lyndon. We enjoyed seeing how you and Donna got around over there. It's nice that they announce in both Japanese and English in the station's. At least some! Loved coming along. I've seen some shorts of train footage that get an incredible amount of views. Ever though of re-formatting some of these? We have very mixed result's with shorts, but much of this should do very well!
Glad you enjoyed it. I could create a few shorts, but have to admit I have been drifting away from the format lately. See how well this one does. Once you get into the rural areas English really drops off so it can be tricky.
Hi Lyndon I came over from Dave and Kathy @Traveling Tramps this is such an great array of trains...I'm surprised to see some as old as they are and even a trolly...some remind me of NYC trains outside and above ground and yet others ground level...great capture's and a great idea to use up footage from your camera...
Hi L. Really interesting seeing the trains in Japan. Looks a lot more efficient compared to what we have here. The overland trams are good too. Looks like you both had a great time. It’s good to see a rail network that actually works and where the drivers aren’t on strike all the time like here. An enjoyable watch with the sights and sounds. 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's amazing to me how organized and nice the train network looks. The trains looked very clean and modern. I commuted into Philadelphia for years for college and work - and the public transit system here lags a bit compared to other cities and countries.
They are efficient over there no doubt. The trains here in Edmonton can be a bit of an adventure as well. Always can count on someone giving you an intimidating stare.
Hi L, I've heard Japan is a beautiful fabulous place. Interesting to see the train station here, the trains look so modern compared to ours akf the buildings so tall ! Good to see this 👍 ~ Anna
Hi Mr. Lyndon?? wow you have changed your channel's name? hahahah Excuse me. I am back from Memorial Holiday Weekend Very fascinating comparison between two bullet trains??? are they? 1:41 hahaha JP tram in the city is skinny hahahah 4:09 JP does not use app for schedule...??? Very entertaining to see painting on the body just like busses Haha relatively quiet and smooth rails, I reckon Well Done, Mr. Lyndon. For my curiosity, I forgot to ask Donna, why you two fell in Japan??? have you ever been in JET program to teach English in Japanese public school system? See you next time
you rided on tosaden, right? it's tram station sanbashidori yon chome 桟橋通四丁目 I think that tosaden traffic company will be bussiness suspension with 10 years it's reason, population decline of kochi my english isn't good sorry! every time!

Thank you! They have a good system there, and it is really missed when we are out in the country away from major transportation hubs.
it's so cool that you checked out the areas that are less visited by western tourists like Kochi!!
Those, we find, tend to be the best places, and are usually fondly remembered.

Thank you so much! Japan certainly moves forward developing new trains, but they also love there old classic ones as well.

Its well maintained and efficient. A lot of people can get around without the need for cars.
Simply beautiful in God's own country, Japan.
Your crisp videography makes it even better ~

I would like to ride the Enoden in Kamakura when the hydrangeas are in bloom.😀
That would be nice.
