- This has to be seen in conjunction with the slurry-spreading by "Monster Tanker" video. Reason? Same set of fields. The slurry, in other words, is being ploughed under. If it had been injected, it would have been ploughed back on top!
DanYRheol kit, John Deere 7810 with 5-furrow reversible. The weight box on the front says "1500kg".
Nice outfit and tasty ploughing. Those 7810's are still a great machine.
beautiful 7810 must have been one of the last made shame tractors these days are not made like that any more !
Theres a reason the right window is open on the cab! Would be great to listen to this snoring all day long!
This is the exact set up I used to use about 12 years ago, fantastic combo. When I used to plough heavier ground I would have the right hand door open to hear hear purr!
Great video. He even found himself some extra weight for the front. Same tractor my dad has.
I was about to write "someone pick up that rock", but you already did. Very nice tractor and great ploughing.
Nothing sounds better than a John Deere 7010. What a impressive, formidable machine.
looks like the slurry did a good job on the soil nice a rich brown and fertile
Thanks Alan, i am an educated farmer from Bavaria, but without job and farm and have to earn my money in an office...your videos make me longing for farmworks :-) ( excuse my English)
Very nice, loving the sound she's making!
To liamlightmx
Thanks Liam. Second isn't bad for first-time. I used to do it full time but that was 40 years ago!
To edgey8D
Thanks Dave. That box will hold a spade! We had hard clay and sometimes we had to cross plough to brek up the clay boulders!
lovely video! i saw that sumo box at the cereals show, it has a space for parts/tools. nice bit of kit. we're struggling here,a few people with auto reset ploughs are having to hire in shear protected ones just to get in the ridiculously hard ground!! i start ploughing on monday i think, so not really looking forward to that :)
Good job - both ploughing and camera work!
Many thanks!
love seeing them furrows being turned over great video

There's a band of red soil runs across our part of Wales and this is part of it - it's wonderful, early and warm. Where I was on maize yesterday is on the same band - it's only about a mile across but goes for miles.
GREAT VID!!!!!!!!!!CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUR SILAGE VIDEOS THIS YEAR
Great vid alan nice to see anther john deere hard at work :)
To bufferbridge
Yes - I'd have kept the video running but I wasn't sure what he'd stopped for. I'm afraid there are others out there who don't!
To 7810ftw
Very true - all we can do is keep the ones we have . . . .

The biggest, locally, and some say, nationally. I don't know, but they have shown the TV around!
No Roundup used to kill old vegetation?

True. Wife's uncle in Holland has one and it's like new. Does all the heavy work.
To Ticky66MN
Yes, he obviously thought it handy because he didn't remove it at the hedge!
Thanks very much - so did I.

Thanks Wayne. You'll be glad to see that slurry disappearing! All the fields that were treated are being ploughed.
music 2 my ears da grunt wot an animal of a machine
Yes, truly.
To Tractormadsteve
Glad you liked that bit of grunt!
To Agri957
Thanks very much.
Yes, some tractors can pull a plough and pull a seed drill as well, but usually only on good light soil. The plough, too, would have to be smaller than usual or the tractor bigger. Nothing for nothing in this life! Most farmers hang the biggest plough they can, to get the ploughing job done as soon as possible.
@balmesh yeah i would say maize would grow well on it what is he planting on it?
nice vid! you do always awsome vids!
To TheMasterMassey
Thanks very much.
Thank you for that. Can you get out at weekend with a camera?
hello, can some machine plow and plant at the same time..(like only one attachement?).. also after the land is plowed in this manner, is it ready for seeding or does more work have to be done before planting? thank you so much for the info
To destig83
There was stock on it till recently - they weren't hungry enough!
