Love the variety of border patterns. I’ve never seen scissors in a CQ. Must have a nice weight to it being all wool.

The wools are all light weight and soft, so it's been a delight to handle and sew on. It's always fun to get a glimpse of the quilters' lives according to what objects they include on their crazies. You can check on my blog (annquiltsblog.blogspot.com/search/label/crazy%20quilt) to see some of the other personalities I've encountered!

Hi there … I have a question and I hope that either you or maybe a follower can help me. I am working on a 150 year old quilt that requires me to attach a sleeve. The quote backing is due to its age. very fragile, and I would like to see if anybody can help me with some tips on how to attach the sleeve without having the backing rip on me. Thank you very very much for any help with this issue. Just in case you wonder, this quilt is going into a museum and needs the sleeve to be hung.

Hi, Sabrina - Thanks for writing! I can’t give you an answer without seeing the quilt. Please *email* me some photos at annquilts@comcast.net - one of the entire quilt, or as full as you can, both sides, and a few details of the damaged fabrics. (I prefer higher resolution photos. If you need to send them in more than one email, that is fine.) Also, please tell me the approximate size of the quilt. I can give you a general assessment via email, and you can find descriptions of the more in-depth services I offer on the quilt repair page of my website:

@@ann_quilts hello :) thank you for your response. I am not trying to hire this work out. I was hoping for advice on how I can attach the sleeve so it can be hung. I am happy to send pictures if you would like to give me feedback or suggestions on the sleeve attachment. Thank you 🙏🏻😊

@@Sabrina1998 Hi. Yes, I am talking about teaching, sorry to not be more specific.

@@ann_quilts I apologize for the misunderstanding. I just want to be clear and not lead anybody on. Thank you for clarifying it for me.
I will try to take pictures hopefully this weekend; if I can’t get it done this weekend, it will be 2 weeks out as I am out of town.
Again, thank you for the follow up and my apologies for the miss understanding. 🙏🏻
