I like it when the music artist finds a beautiful instruments to demonstrate what Casio has done in making an affordable beautiful instrument. That makes a new standard for the other keyboard makers. Casio using new technology and increased polyphony with a fantastic design and colors. I am waiting on FedX to deliver my CT-S1 in red.
Man, thank you for making me laugh. Casio and new technologies? LoL Casio is years behind the competition, but justified, because what to expect from a manufacturer of calculators and watches, which in fact never knew how to make a good keyboard!
Great video (thank you for the subtitles) This is the only video I have found on this with no other form of amplification being used, just the sound of the keyboard. Thank you so much for that!!
@@pf_masa Thank so much. You are a very accomplished player. Thanks to your review I have decided to buy one of these and possibly the iloud Micro Monitor too :)
@@pf_masa Some after market pedals have a polarity switch. That is probably something that could be added yourself. I'm reasonably sure the Yamaha DGX is capable of adapting to the polarity of the pedal.
For the price is is good. It depends on your needs. I think the tone is lacking as a genuinely professional instrument, but on the other hand it's extremely portable and probably good enough for many situations such as in school classrooms or even for piano classes. You are the type of pianist that can make any instrument sound good. That said, I still prefer you on a bit richer sounding instrument. It's kind of like comparing a Mac Donald's burger to a Kobe steak.
@@gangnamchild6310 Not necessarily. For that amount, you can still find keyboards from the nineties in top condition, which will eat all the Casio toys in one bite.😆
I like the Casiotone CT-S1, but it's not a full-size keyboard and I often make mistakes. I hope Casio will update to a full size keyboard (12key=165mm). Does anyone know how to adapt the keyboard to different sizes?🥰
I also like the CT-S1. I actually play keyboards of various sizes, but for some reason I don't have much trouble with them. One thing that comes to mind is that the most important thing is to take a long time to get used to it.☺
@cocovi 0 seconds ago Some poeple say this is a beginner piano. Like it says at the beginning of the video, it can be easily enjoyed or played seriously. It has solid sounds and is meant to be minimalist and intuitive. You have a button for the Piano category, the Organ category and a button for each of the two E. Piano categories as well as a button for each variation within those categories. Intuitively, you can find the sound you want after a short period of using the keyboard without needing the manual. You can also record, play the recording and stop the recording with one button (REC/PLay/Stop is sequential, meaning the next action is based on the previous one; if play is stopped the next push of the button will trigger the record mode; if you are recording and you push the button, recording will stopp and the track will start playing etc...). I think of it as a street smart type of keyboard. The action is kind of an organ or Rhodes type action. The Rhodes sounds are amazing. You feel like you're playing the real instrument. The B3 presets are good and the action helps with organ playing. Plus it has bluetooth audio and MIDI so it's very easy to play backing track from TH-cam or from audio files on your phone. The real beginner piano is an acoustic piano. A beginner doesn't need different sounds. I would put this keyboard below the Yamaha CK61 ( I own both of those keyboards) but in the same category.
I really agree with your comment! I feel most of what you feel. I still think the CT-S1 is a wonderful keyboard that I would recommend to anyone. thank you!☺✨
I think it's possible to record to a DAW from the CT-S1's Phones output via Audio InterFace analog. I record with Zoom's L-12 first, then copy it to my PC. I don't know if the CT-S1 actually records 61 sounds. thank you!
Hello. It's me again with another question. I have decided that I need something more portable than the "iLoud Micro Monitor [IK MULTIMEDIA]", as I will mainly be taking it out to gigs. I have a small external bluetooth speaker called a Tronsmart which is 40w and I suspect would sound better than the onboard speakers. I was wondering whether it is possible (with the bluetooth adapter) to send a signal to the bluetooth speaker, or is the adapter only any good for receiving signals rather than sending them out. I was wondering if you connect up your speakers using bluetooth, or are they wired?
Hello. It seems that the CASIO Bluetooth adapter "WU-BT10" that connects to the CT-S1 can only be used to play an external sound source using the CT-S1's onboard speaker. I think that the method of playing the sound of CT-S1 using an external speaker is a wired connection.
@@pf_masa Thank you so much for your very prompt response which is much appreciated.

PSS A50も忘れないでくださいね(^^;
