Can confirm as of 2/14/21 loading Data Hive: Rally Point Bravo DOES WORK. You do not need to play through all of the missions before finding the final audio log. Hope this helps.
I like how if you collect all 30 audio logs that it would alternate a cutscene of where instead of the Rookie aiming his gun at Virgil he whistles to him.
Also confirming that you do not need to get all 30 audio logs in one run - I got 12 in my original run through the Campaign. Watched this video to get the remaining 17 audio logs, then Save and Quit to load up Data Hive and got the 30th.
quick words advice: 1: if you get all 29 audio logs you can save quit and load up data hive and still get the 30th 2: you can load up rally point bravo to save a massive chunk of time as you just have to drop down the hole you spawn next to, clear a hallway of brutes and then your next to the data log
Can confirm in February 2020 that starting on Mombasa Streets Rally Point 8 (Open City), collecting the 29 audio logs, then playing through all the missions including data hive without save and quitting gets you the 30th
For anyone who has gotten all the audio logs but the achievement for a certain one hasnt popped up just load up this level in coop and all the audio logs are reset and you can go and get x amount of audio logs and it will pop
As of 3/13/21 I can confirm like many are saying here that if you follow this guide and get all 29 audio logs then load up Data Hive on Rally Point BRAVO then the 30th audio log will be available and the cop will survive until you kill him. Also as a bonus you will indeed see the cutscene where Rookie whistles to Virgil instead of pulling his gun out.

for those who may be doing this achievement in 2022, saving and quitting and starting up rally point bravo on data hive DOES work! BUT: You won't be able to get the last audio log if you did the first 29 in multiplayer! I learned that the hard way. you'll know if it's working or not if the audio logs are saved in your visor after you pick them up.
so if i do all the 29 with a friend i wont be able to get the last one even with or without him? (and not playing through it all). so i have to redo all of it by myself and then i can get it?
@@flashlightosu that is correct, i tried collecting the logs with a friend and as soon as we left the level to load up data hive our progress on the 29 audio logs was lost. Worked fine in single player though.

Did this one a few days ago, alot easier to have a guide than to go in blind. When I did this I went through and played all the other levels from the mission select screen, including Data Hive to complete the level, came back to Mombasa streets to search for audio logs and then did Data Hive, Bravo Point last for the 30th audio log.
When I did this, I got all 29 logs, then quit out, loaded up Data Hive, and the 30th log was available. I didn't have to play every level in that one Mombasa Streets mission to get it. And whenever I play as the Rookie, even after playing other missions and other Halo games, I still retain every log. Maybe it's a glitch that some people have to play every level to get the 30th log?

I got 29 and quit went to the mission with the last one and it was there and got the achievements for all of them. I see some people saying it didn't work so my advice is save and quit at your own risk

Just done this, I'm guessing people know by now. Today 7th May 2021 - collect all 29 logs first. Then load data hive - rally point bravo and continue until the guy stops where theres ice.
As of 01-14-2020 I can confirm that yes: after getting the 29 audio logs through the eighth Mombasa streets checkpoint I saved & quit. I then loaded up data hive and got the 30th.
@@Akxhar yes but I think if the person hosting the game already has all 30 audio logs they won't show up in campaign anymore. When I reran the game on legendary again the audio log locations were no longer there. And in my VISR mode it showed I had all 30 to listen to.
Just a Heads up if yall do Legendary while doing this (To get all the achievements in 1 playthru or at least most of them) the brutes in the tunnels are mostly invisable brutes

In the ice room, your bud is one of Kinslers 'Corrupt Cops' from the logs. The ice is argon. The body is Saadie's dad!! The corrupt cop was making sure her dad was dead after Kinsler activated the fire system! 😲😱 8 years of playing ODST, and the mystery is solved!

04/04/22 can confirm data hive rally point bravo can get you 30th audio log without completing prior levels, but make sure that previous 29 audio logs are collected.
I might have a fix for some of y’all. For some reason it said I was missing two achievements for finding audio logs 28 and 29, but I was able to do Data Hive and collect the 30th audio log. So obviously the game knew I had all 29 but it refused to pop those last two. I had to go on Co-op and load up Mombasa streets and collect all 29 audio logs again. And when I activated the last two audio logs after collecting the other 27 audio logs... the achievements finally popped.
3/6/2022 on MCC on PC: got my 30th audio log! 1. Load up Mombasa Streets Rally Point 8 and collect all 29 logs, then Save & Quit (i did not need to finish objective) 2. Load up DATA HIVE Rally Point 2 and go get your final log!
Just completed this achievement! First I played through the entire mission solo, then went and collected the 29 audio files, saved and quit, loaded up Data Hive from bravo checkpoint 2 and it worked just fine.
MCC ODST PC 9-22-20: Just did this-ish (did the 29 without this guide, just a mix of searching and a map from online), and then did the 30th in Data Hive no problem.
At least you guys found some audio logs. Absolutely none are highlighting for me even though I've already beaten the campaign and started Mombasa Streets free roam.
That happened to me as well. You might have to go back in coop and get all 29 logs in Mombasa Rally Point 8 / open world, then go to Data Hive, Rally Point Bravo and play them split screen or with a friend :)
Can confirm, as of 7-4-2021 that on the Steam version of MCC you can save/quit out of the mission after Audio File 29 and then load up Rally Point Bravo on Data Hive and everything works the way it should. :) Happy achievement hunting!

I'm already lost in the first minute of the video. You go in to get on the mongoose, exit, and drive off and go through the big door, then pause to look at the map, and after exiting from the map, you're back where you first pick up the mongoose and on a different street somehow.
Oh boy... So i completed the guide. (Figured I got them all) I loaded up Data Hive. The guy went rogue, got the audio log on that mission, etc. Yet on my achievements i am missing “Hear Me Out” achievement. Audio log number 5. If I am missing one, I don’t understand how i got Data Hives log. Sure hope my achievement isnt bugged.

I have figured it out, but for future reference/guide help to those that have the same issue, here is how I fixed it. If you are like me and you got all 30 audio logs, but your achievements say otherwise, re-do it over in co-op. All I did was create a second account, and go through the open streets with two players on my xbox. The audio logs will then be viewable again, and the achievements will register after x amount of audio logs. 👍🏼
Can confirm 3/3/24 getting 29 logs in open city then saving and quiting works. Load data hives point B then he jumps straight down for you. Anyone doing coop does not work for some reason well atleast for myself and my friend so I went back done solo and works fine. Hope this helps people, best of luck

So theres some confusion on being able to quit and go to a rally point rather than play theough the levels. I did the rally point Bravo after getting the 29th log. I did wait for a checkpoint after getting it however and it seems to have worked. So secure a checkpoint before trying. Its the least you can do and youve wasted hours doing lesser things anyway if it doesnt work out.
So I got every single data log but for some reason the achievement for the 8th data log didn’t pop. Which doesn’t make sense cuz how could I get the 9th, 10th etc if I haven’t got the 8th? I went through every audio log location and they’re all found...

@@Eerebus I realized my problem. While I was playing along with the guide above, I remember walking past an audio log in the game and thinking "am I suppose to grab this one too? Why is he having me walk by it? I just assume it's in the rotation and I'll come back to it...I won't worry about it." Then the video ended and I was stuck with 28 logs. So the following day I went back to the one I skipped and got the 29th. I also think I may have been fast forwarding around in the video too quickly. This is why time stamps are helpful and should always be a must incorporated by uploaders.
@@Eerebus well my missing log may be a different missing log from yours. Like in the video, I may have missed log 15 but you're missing log 23 (speaking in the order he went in). But for me it was the log at 8:22 I somehow missed. Ran right past it even though I saw it in the game.

Okay. Weird problem. I followed this video every step of the way, but when you said we were doing "29", I got "28th"....are the numbered logs related to the EXACT location? Because I have 1-28, followed this video exactly, but when you said we were on '28th' I got the achievement for 27, and when you said we were on '29' I go the achievement for 28. What is going on?
Could this still work if you have all 29 audio logs (before datahive) but not have every achievement? Like, does the final audio log unlock the other audio log achievements or am I never getting them?
Can you do them at the start of the game our do i have to do all game then at the last mission insted of entering the zipline down the elevator go and get all of them then proceed to the Last segment of the game?
Some only appear after completing certain missions. You will have that problem if you just start from the beginning and go straight to audio log hunting.
I was doing this but when I activated the 28 audio I press pause before the achievement pop up, so I didnt get it, I have all audio achievements incluide the 30th, except 28, so anybody nowa how to fix that?
Hey Silver, so on my achievement progress screen for Record Store Owner, it's showing 96% which means I'm 1 shy. However, I have the achievement for each of the 30 audio logs. Have you heard of this glitch and how to overcome it? If you know, that would be a big help!
Yeah same happened to me :( The achievement titled ‘attentive’ for audio log 18 never popped. So even though I have found and downloaded all audio logs, I cannot unlock the achievement.

It's glitched on the MCC. None of the remaining audio logs are appearing for me. The phones and shit ring where the next one is, but it is not glowing yellow and is not unlockable. This is bullshit.

Well, i really hope that anyone can help me, this is my case: I played the Mombasa Street's level, where everything is Open, and I collect all the audios and I save and quit to load Data Have. The point is that I got the last audio log, but not the achievement of all the audio logs collected because I "don't have" the seven. Then i re-search all the audio logs again, but I GOT ALL OF THEM I'm supposed to have all the audios, but they don't give me the achievement of the seventh, and therefore I don't get the "Get all the audios" either What should I do?

You need to add a Guest (on xbox) as a second profile and play Mombasa streets on split screen, all the records will be there again but you have to find all 30 again from the start! Took me a while but I managed to find a solution, I had stopped playing mcc until I though something about how to solve this problem!
I collected the first 29 audio logs, but I can't figure out how to get to Data Hive without the menu screen saying Warning! If you continue, you will lose any saved progress from your current mission. Continue?
Some people have been allowed to get #30 after save/quitting, others haven't. I believe the way ODST MCC works the audio logs are shared across every save, so you should be able to get it by ignoring the warning and starting up Data Hive. If you want to be careful then do all the missions from your Mombasa Streets save then unlock and play Data Hive that way, I don't think it's necessary but this is MCC things tend to be inconsistent so you never know.
Can confirm that after getting 29 logs, I saved and quit and then loaded Data hive and the 30th log was there.

If you pause at 13:09 and go a little up on your map you will see another Superintendent icon. I can confirm that there are more mongoose in there.

22 and 24 achievement came up for me when I played Mombasa rally pnt 8 on co-op, so maybe try it in co-op

Can confirm that on MCC PC that once you get all 29. You can then go straight to Delta Hive load up Rally Point Bravo & get the final audio log

So I got every single data log but for some reason the achievement for the 8th data log didn’t pop. Which doesn’t make sense cuz how could I get the 9th, 10th etc if I haven’t got the 8th? I went through every audio log location and they’re all found...
Kinda confused. I went to ever audio log as displayed in the video and only unlocked 28 audio log achievements. Wtf?
same here, i went to data hive just in case and it gave me the 30th audio log achievement but i still dont have the 29th or "collect all 30 audio logs"
@@Eerebus I realized my problem. While I was playing along with the guide above, I remember walking past an audio log in the game and thinking "am I suppose to grab this one too? Why is he having me walk by it? I just assume it's in the rotation and I'll come back to it...I won't worry about it." Then the video ended and I was stuck with 28 logs. So the following day I went back to the one I skipped and got the 29th. I also think I may have been fast forwarding around in the video too quickly.
This is why time stamps are helpful and should always be a must incorporated by uploaders.

@@Eerebus well my missing log may be a different missing log from yours. Like in the video, I may have missed log 15 but you're missing log 23 (speaking in the order he went in). But for me it was the log at 8:22 I somehow missed. Ran right past it even though I saw it in the game.
Also I'm a huge fan!!! Don't stop!
5,6 and 7 have unlocked on steam but not in-game, can't get any others to unlock on steam or in-game. The most glitchy achievements I've had in Halo MCC so far. 26/07/21

i found 8 locatiins but only have 6 logs. two of them arent active or showing up, one of which is the pay phone in the circle. can anybody help me or tell me what i can do to make thm show up

Okay. Weird problem. I followed this video every step of the way, but when you said we were doing "29", I got "28th"....are the numbered logs related to the EXACT location?
Because I have 1-28, followed this video exactly, but when you said we were on '28th' I got the achievement for 27, and when you said we were on '29' I go the achievement for 28.
What is going on?

Could this still work if you have all 29 audio logs (before datahive) but not have every achievement? Like, does the final audio log unlock the other audio log achievements or am I never getting them?

Can you do them at the start of the game our do i have to do all game then at the last mission insted of entering the zipline down the elevator go and get all of them then proceed to the Last segment of the game?

Should I quickstart Halo 3:ODST and play on easy until I get to Data Hive and collect the 30th audio log?
Some of these I never got and even after I clear out everything some still aren’t there for me. Is this some sort of bug?
Some only appear after completing certain missions. You will have that problem if you just start from the beginning and go straight to audio log hunting.
I was doing this but when I activated the 28 audio I press pause before the achievement pop up, so I didnt get it, I have all audio achievements incluide the 30th, except 28, so anybody nowa how to fix that?
I can confirm you can load Data Hive after getting 29 audio logs and it will work on the Xbox 360 version.

Hey Silver, so on my achievement progress screen for Record Store Owner, it's showing 96% which means I'm 1 shy. However, I have the achievement for each of the 30 audio logs. Have you heard of this glitch and how to overcome it? If you know, that would be a big help!

The achievement titled ‘attentive’ for audio log 18 never popped. So even though I have found and downloaded all audio logs, I cannot unlock the achievement.
Same here. Apparently I never got the achievements for audio logs 8, 9, and 15, but I should have all 30. Does anyone know a solution for this?
@@ihatechaucer4413I've been reading forums and the Halo Support page. It seems after you've collected all audio logs but your game glitches, you'll have to replay the game in co-op and basically retrace your steps.
It's glitched on the MCC. None of the remaining audio logs are appearing for me. The phones and shit ring where the next one is, but it is not glowing yellow and is not unlockable. This is bullshit.

I think there is some confusion and clarification is needed. Can you or can you not save and quit from mombassa streets and go straight into data hive, rally point b?

Well, i really hope that anyone can help me, this is my case:
I played the Mombasa Street's level, where everything is Open, and I collect all the audios and I save and quit to load Data Have. The point is that I got the last audio log, but not the achievement of all the audio logs collected because I "don't have" the seven. Then i re-search all the audio logs again, but I GOT ALL OF THEM
I'm supposed to have all the audios, but they don't give me the achievement of the seventh, and therefore I don't get the "Get all the audios" either
What should I do?
That is kinda strange maybe try play the campaign and only pick up that one log

@@earthbrother4549 I eventually found a solution!!! You need to add a Guest (on xbox) as a second profile and play Mombasa streets on split screen, all the records will be there again but you have to find all 30 again from the start! Took me a while but I managed to find a solution, I had stopped playing mcc until I though something about how to solve this problem!

I collected the first 29 audio logs, but I can't figure out how to get to Data Hive without the menu screen saying Warning! If you continue, you will lose any saved progress from your current mission. Continue?
Some people have been allowed to get #30 after save/quitting, others haven't. I believe the way ODST MCC works the audio logs are shared across every save, so you should be able to get it by ignoring the warning and starting up Data Hive. If you want to be careful then do all the missions from your Mombasa Streets save then unlock and play Data Hive that way, I don't think it's necessary but this is MCC things tend to be inconsistent so you never know.
@@Bane_questionmark I ignored the warning, started up Data Hive, and finally got the achievement!
