Recon Howe seems him more of a hybrid 8 second striker type of player this season, rather than coming from the wing - like we saw against Chelsea last game of season. Recall Gordon saying that he sees himself more as a forward, and enjoys playing through the middle over wide as he feels more comfortable with space around him.
It's NOT England it's England U21's.....big difference. He's doing very well, fair enough, but premier league is a much bigger challenge & the jury is still out based on his performances since signing. Personally, I think he'll get better in the coming season but he isn't a striker as many are now suggesting & I don't believe he'll be at NUFC for many years. I hope I'm wrong......I usually am!!
