I think spread of Islam was the reason they demolished the old temples nd made mosque over them, to replace socioeconomic status may be a reason ,, that would be another theory ...but logic is that still they were unable to vanish Hinduism from India. Demolishment of temples was reason of spread of Islam not a justification on the scale of socioeconomic status. On the sake of improvement of Socioeconomic status Hindu had been imposed by jaziya and other heavy taxes. But sir how can you neglect if our ancestors would not fight and oppose such moves ,,you and i would be a Muslim too. Administrator hona ek bat hai ,, yeh yad rkhna ...respect others protect oneself ,ek alag bat hai... aj ki date me hum equality ki bat kr skte hai hindu or muslim me .par medivel history ke atrocities ko justify nhi kr skte . but i strongly disagree with justification of demolishment of temples. I have observed in all your series that quite often you implying us to visualize beyond the religious & other small pitty things & just focus on administrative motives...& technical strategies of the story..... I do agree with you sir.... But sir.... when you mentioned about the Kashmir's map ..... there is a slight disagreement on my part that I want to mention sir... With due respect sir, it is true that our ultimate motive is to become an administrator & we have to rise above all these pitty socio-religious things & think like an administrator & political strategies....correct.... but sir... I think "just" the expertise shouldn't be our motive when we are aspiring to become an administrator of India......because there are values & a sense of patriotism that we must adhere to while exploring such an ocean of knowledge..... because these 'values' (& sentiments for our nation) will help us to be a better & honest administrator (which is a rare thing in today's context)... For all practical reasons, Qutubuddin Aibak was a Sultan and it doesn't make a great difference whether he assumed the title or not
