I am a musician's kid, and I am so grateful! My Daddy played LTD and Jeffrey Osborne throughout my entire childhood. He now has dementia, but the music, makes him remember EVERYTHING! ❤️
So sorry to hear about your father having dementia but I'm happy to hear he played LTD music to you through out your childhood one of my favorite groups when I was growing up.

In Fall 2002, I was a freshman at Prairie View A&M University (PV...U Know!💜💛). It was my first Homecoming. For our Homecoming Concert, it was Tweet, 112, and Jeffrey Osborne. Man! Mr. Osborne had THE BEST performance out of everybody! He had everyone in the Baby Dome on their feet, singing and dancing. During the Woo Woo song, Mr. Osborne went out in the audience on the floor and had people singing on the mic. T.C. Carson (Kyle from Living Single) was there and he sang! Mr. Osborne turned that crowd out...oh my goodness, such a memorable experience. Definitely something that I will never forget! Thank you for having him on here!❤️
Right 👍. No offense to Jeffrey Osborne, but I liked him more when he was with L.T.D. They were old school icons who never received the recognition they deserved. Not sure who wrote & produced, but they cranked out an era of old school hits and ballads --- in rapid fire.🔥. Too bad they disbanded.

@R&B Money Podcast, I listen to you religiously, and in this last week, I’ve lost an uncle, aunt and cousin, and all the funerals are today 🥺. However, I listened on IHeart and always feel better after listening to you guys. It really does something for my soul and spirit. Mental health is so important and y’all have been a huge part of that since the pod started. Thankful for all that you have done in such a short time. I loved Mr. Osborne’s story and his “I Ain’t Sayin No Names” segment is something else!! I’m still trying to figure out who decided to take it to that level 😅😂 and then they all still did the show. I was a little girl sitting on the floor in our living room listening to all the music my Dad played on the record player. There was alot of different artist being played, but when my Dad played LTD the Togetherness album I would sing every song. Years later when Jeffrey Osborne's solo album came out I finally saw the face of the voice I fell in love with & I have been in love with his voice every since. I really enjoyed this episode. Jeffery Osborne’s voice was ever present in my childhood as the lead singer of L.T.D. It was wonderful hearing the history behind the recording of “Love Ballad” which is one of my favorite songs. It is amazing that Jeffery sang this beautiful song in one take. And, J. Valentine missed an important Bay Area shoutout by not acknowledging George (Mr. Dukey Stick) Duke who was a Bay Area native. Keep the legends coming, fellas. Another fantastic episode!!!❤❤❤

Once again R&B Money coming through with the gems. Jeffery Osborne has one of those unmistakable, golden voices. I think of singers like Luther V, Teddy P, Bobby Womack; Jeffery Osborne falls in this group of golden voices. Love Ballad in my opinion is one of the greatest love songs written and performed. When I would have relationship drama, I would play Don't You Get So Mad like clockwork. Thank y'all once again. 🙌🏿

This was good. I think my parents listened to a lot of Jeffrey Osborne when my mother was pregnant. I was born in 1978 and am a huge fan of his voice. Glad to see him still around and in good health, especially after battling covid.
I still play 1978 Togetherness Album. That album got me through a lot of rough patches. I met Mr. Osborne in 2013 on the inaugural Soul Train Cruise. He is one of the nicest human beings that you'd ever want to meet. He hung out with folks after his show. Both he and George Duke. He took photos with the fans. The whole nine!

I really enjoyed this episode. Jeffery Osborne’s voice was ever present in my childhood as the lead singer of L.T.D.
It was wonderful hearing the history behind the recording of “Love Ballad” which is one of my favorite songs. It is amazing that Jeffery sang this beautiful song in one take.
And, J. Valentine missed an important Bay Area shoutout by not acknowledging George (Mr. Dukey Stick) Duke who was a Bay Area native.

Once again R&B Money coming through with the gems. Jeffery Osborne has one of those unmistakable, golden voices. I think of singers like Luther V, Teddy P, Bobby Womack; Jeffery Osborne falls in this group of golden voices.
Love Ballad in my opinion is one of the greatest love songs written and performed. When I would have relationship drama, I would play Don't You Get So Mad like clockwork. Thank y'all once again. 🙌🏿

I still play 1978 Togetherness Album. That album got me through a lot of rough patches. I met Mr. Osborne in 2013 on the inaugural Soul Train Cruise. He is one of the nicest human beings that you'd ever want to meet. He hung out with folks after his show. Both he and George Duke. He took photos with the fans. The whole nine!
