Hi Linda! My mom watches your videos on tv but isn’t able to comment, so she wanted me to comment for her. She says that she loves your channel, your spirit, and that you speak to her soul. She likes the music you play and all the antiques you use to decorate. She says that she sees her own house through new fresh eyes and appreciates her decor even more. She is pretty sure y’all could be best friends if you lived in north Louisiana. 😊
You are one truly amazing woman. What patience you have, I would be either screaming or crying for all the different cancellations of things that you have had. Just love, love your kitchen window over the sink. Can’t wait to see it all done, and you enjoying your new space.💕💕
It is always a pleasure to see you have posted a new video ! Those bench seats are so nice , can't wait to see the cushions . You have planned out everything so beautifully. Glad the guys came to measure for the countertops ! The snow looks so pretty and I would also be excited to have the bench to look outside with a hot cup of coffee. Thank you kindred spirit for taking us along for the ride !!
Your window benches look so inviting, and such great storage. Loving the beadboard. You have such vision. Hope you feel better. Can’t wait for the next chapter!
First of all I hope you are feeling better. I love your attention to the details. The kitchen and pantry are coming together beautifully. Cannot wait for another update!!
The benches are going to be so comfy. It looks like Willow is enjoying them already. I love bead board-it’s all coming together so nicely. Hope you feel better!
I really enjoy seeing how your kitchen is coming along…I can’t wait to see how you put everything together and what fabric you will choose for the bench cushions…Thank you so much for sharing..Hope you feel better real soon..Stay warm 👍
Wow it's really coming together.... The view from the window above the sink is gorgeous. Hope you are feeling better,, and sweet Willow outside with her carrying her toy is adorable.
I could almost hear the lilac breathe a sigh of relief! Bittersweet is a pox in the garden. Willow has selected her favorite spot, as do all Poodles et. al. Can’t wait to see what fabric you select. Your remodel is stunning.
All my life I have LOVED window seats. How perfect it is you fit with a little extra foot room to while away a little time to read or simply relax! We were hit with snow like that in the Seacoast NH but rain followed quickly and we have lost most of it by today. I have lived in the same townhouse for 25+ years and I remember so many storms with snow up to the middle of my windows on the ground floor! I was was glad to see you outside despite the snow, it is just beautiful. I am enjoying the progress of your kitchen/dining/pantry area more than I can tell you. Thank you very much for sharing the journey 😊
The lilac tree really bounced back after the trimming. It was bent over so much. You looked like you enjoyed being outside. It’s so beautiful in your yard with the snow. Loved this video. Thanks so much, Linda❤
The Lilac bush looked like it was forming a canopy over that area. I can see it in spring, in full bloom, with a little cast iron bistro set underneath, with tea service for two. What a happy little party that would be! 🩷💜💗
Oh Linda, everything is coming together beautifully! I used the same fireplace inspiration image when we built our house. We really are kindred spirits 😊
It's coming together nicely! I thought it was cute, seeing Willow🐕 sitting on the window seat! I live in the south and we haven't received any snow☃️. I wish some of that beautiful snow❄️ would come our way.
We’ve had next to no snow this year and I’m so jealous of your snow. Willow is absolutely beautiful and adorable, and what would a home be without a sweet pet in it.
So happy your feeling better. Love your new bench and Willow loves it too. I love sitting on my sofa and looking out the window. Enjoy your life everyday.
Whew! I wish I had your energy, Linda. I really getting excited to see everything finished. I'd even like to see some of that snow. I love a snow-covered landscape.
Hi Linda, your kitchen is really coming together beautifully. I loved seeing your flowers in the window. The bench seats with the newly painted knobs, great job! The snow looks so pretty, it’s a winter wonderland over there. TFS! Xoxo ❤
Kitchen is going to be beautiful, I remember going through the chaos when I was redoing my kitchen, but so worth it in the end, I was so excited to see a video today!
How I love to watch and reminisce of the times my late husband and I did our work, gardening, decorating and loving our home. I have since moved to a condo, but am pleased with what we've done. When do you anticipate the kitchen being completed? Renovations got me feeling choked up as you are beginning to feel. Yet, your patience is admirable!( I was not as calm!) Feel better.. I suppose the anxiousness doesn't help with causing susceptibility to germs! We haven't had any winter as yet in Central PA. I sure hope our upcoming fire and ice festival doesn't melt before the end of opening night!
I had the 'thumping' sound in my ears for weeks - it finally got so loud I couldn't even sleep - then just like that - it disappeared. Dr. told me it may be a residual symptom of the COVID I had in September as my symptoms were all in my ears and sinuses. Feel better soon!
Hi Linda, What magnificent light you have with all the windows revealing your beautiful property. Each season will be delightful seeing it from your new window seats with Willow. I smiled as you told us why you purchased the flowers-to have something pretty to look at during the chaos of remodeling. I am so much that way, needing some beauty to see in the bleak winter months. I have amaryllis blooming now. Everything you are doing is wonderful and I can wait for the finish as I am enjoying the journey (easy for me to say, you are living it). Please take time to rest and fully recuperate. My husband has gone through first a virus during Christmas, then acute bronchitis, to now being hospitalized because his oxygen levels are low. You are younger than he but it can happen to the younger also. I so enjoy being a kindred spirit and look forward to each segment with you.
Oh my gosh Linda, I have snow envy! The scenery looks so beautiful and peaceful. And your kitchen is looking lovely too. Your videos are so relaxing as well as a learning tool and I love how you are so hands on. I to like you have my fingers in a lot of pies. ❤️
I feel your pain. We just moved into a new home and the sound of emptying boxes can be annoying. So we’re taking a break and going to our daughters home for a few days and play with her boys/ ❤❤
Linda, those cabinets! I’m swooning over here!❤❤ 😍🥰I kept rewinding the part where you show them because it’s the first time I’ve seen them and they are literally perfect.
Where in the world did you learn to do all the stuff you do. You amaze me! Your actually going to design your own fireplace mantel! how cool. I love your bench seats and how cute that Willow does to. I can't believe how much bigger your kitchen looks now that you opened it up. very nice. Hope you feel better soon. You need to rest!
I love watching your home projects. I am not a diy person with all the gear. My house needs some love but I spend time watching the experts. You do a fantastic job of everything. It's a rainy day here in England. I am hi ernating right now. Looking forward to a lovely spring and summer.
Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. When I get bronchitis, I am down and out for weeks and weeks, so I hope you have a quick recovery. I think you better just come to the understanding that you have lost your reading nook to your furry friend! She looks so cute lying on the bench. I just love the bead board in the kitchen and the pantry…. beautiful choice of cabinets and appliances….remodeling is such a process, and seems like it takes forever, but it’s so worth it in the end…thanks for sharing your beautiful home and for all of the inspiration!🦋
I love the wooden knobs on the window seats. That is what I have in my white kitchen with the cabinets it's such a clean look I really like it. Even with things only partly finished this project is turning out phenomenal. I love all the storage and creative space you have in your pantry. Eagerly awaiting with all your other subscribers The finished project, as we know you and Ben certainly must feel the same way.🤗⚘
The addition of the windows in the kitchen look like it was always meant to be like that. And oh how cozy the window nook will be with a cup of coffee and a magazine or book! Don't forget to rest. Nail polish color is so pretty on you, btw.
Everything is looking good. The snow is so beautiful outside your window I love the bench. Kindred Spirit,if I lived closer to you I would be happy to clean and help you . Can’t wait for the big reveal of the finished project ❄️☃️
You are a trooper! We have had deck construction going on outside my home office, and it's driving me bananas. I've been channeling my inner Linda and trying to be patient with the noise and mess.
I can tell it is colder there-the snow is crunchy as you walk. We got 8 inches of snow this weekend! Your kitchen is looking great....can hardly wait to see those counter tops!
Hi Linda, hope you get better soon, so sorry the snow is holding everything up. You have major snow and we have major flooding here in Auckland, New Zealand. They say there is another major lot of rain coming tomorrow (Wed 1st Feb) then it should ease off. We certainly weren't prepared for such a disaster. Anyway your video with a cup of coffee has made my morning. Love your snow views. Jeanette, New Zealand.
Love how the bench seats turned out, perfect reading/journaling nook with a view. I'm sure you'll be fighting Willow for this space :) Take care of yourself and get better.
Linda, it's so good to see you able to work in the garden again. You were tearing into trimming out those unwanted vines with great vigor. I have Virginia Creeper growing entwined in my Arizona Cypress windbreak. It's a nightmare, I sympathize.
Did you ever think about a double mantel on your fireplace. We took off the old wood mantel because I wanted bricks (which I painted) So when it came to the mantel the original was a little too small. We did a new larger mantel & went up about 8inches & used the small mantel. The wood going up is inset about 5 inches so I have two shelves. The lower one I use for antique small books on one side and whatever on the other. The upper mantel I use in the normal way. I love having two, have not seen another.
I LOVE, LOVE , LOVE that you do so much work yourself. even painting of the knobs...so amazing. i think Willow has found her throne. Can't wait to see the fabrics for the butlers pantry.
Wowwww. Loved this video! The snow is beautiful! We in Kansas are in the deep freeze. My two little wiener dogs about freeze to death when they go out. Hope your illnesses have improved by now. The kitchen is getting there. As always, I can’t wait to see more from you. Take care Linda❤️
Oh, I remember those snow storms. We lived for six years in northern Maine on Loring AFB. Linda keep warm, take care of yourself and I hope you are feeling better. Your home is lovely and becoming more so!
The snow is beautiful... in New Hampshire. We don't handle that much snow well here in my part of Kentucky. I'm happy to see you out in it. My early daffodils had an open bloom yesterday. First time I've seen that in January. How do you keep your feet warm in rubber boots? Progress in the kitchen! I see you and Willow have claimed your benches.
Hello Linda, hope you get well soon. I hate being sick. I know what you mean about things ever where. I just about got Christmas back in the attic. The anniversary of my sister passing away last Monday. My cat got sick 3 different vets. The garage door right now is stuck up position the frame is twisted some kind of way. I can relate. You really did a good job on the bush. So much snow, so pretty, but must be very cold 🥶. Huge for Willow 0:16
I love that Miss Willow has given her stamp of approval on the window seat! 😉
Ohh my goodness wasn’t she adorable! A perfect spot for a nap.

It is underestimated the details in remodeling and building.
Things are looking good! Willow has claimed her spot!

Cutting Bittersweet in the winter is best? Good to know
I took advantage of being able to reach the vines that I cut at the base last year

Willow looks so happy on **her** new window seats. Do we know her doodle-mix or if she's *all* standard poodle?
I think Doodle is her middle name. Just looking, I think she's a golden doodle, but not sure.
Willow is a 2nd gen labradoodle… one parent poodle, one parent labradoodle
@@bendavisv Thank you! She's a pretty girl!
She's adorable. Her feathery tale must come from the poodle side.
I can tell it is colder there-the snow is crunchy as you walk. We got 8 inches of snow this weekend! Your kitchen is looking great....can hardly wait to see those counter tops!

You are amazing!
The bench seats are sooo nice 😊. Such beautiful scenery all around. Nice job trimming the bushes 👍🏻😊.

Maybe the lilac brach will bloom if you bring it inside!
I have never tried that. It might have to go out in the negative temperatures and save it to try!!!!
I hope you get well soon, Linda!
