Kudos to Lance, Joey, and Chris for continuing to show up together to talk about the Legacy of NSYNC and to say thank you to their fans for supporting them.
Kids today have zero clue how easy they have it seriously when it comes to going "viral", back then these guys worked their asses off for years to get where they are - so much respect for these artists back then ❤❤
Soo True. But you can blow and be viral today but back then the process of becoming an artist like this made long lasting artists. I mean we still talking about nsync today and artists from 5⁰s to early 2000s. Todays artists have less stage presence too because to be an artist back then you had to have that type of stage presence, dance skills , live chops.
well JT wrote and produced his stuff. JC never did that and even JT agree's JC has the best voice so I don't know why fans of Nsync want to force a rivalry.
*Nsync has cemented their legacy. If they never reunite they have nothing left to prove. They gave us such an amazing time period of music. Them, BSB, 98 Degrees, Christiana, Britney. We were blessed in the late 90s and early 00s with amazing pop music
Watching that concert and seeing Justin for the first time might have sparked my entry into puberty. All I know is I felt some things watching that as an 8-10 yo and I started developing breast soon after. 😂 I have been a thot (yet still virgin) ever since.
My very first concert was the *NSYNC No Strings Attached Tour in 2000. I was 14 & saw them at The Colosseum (now Nissan Stadium). My parents bought me floor seats & I got My entire life! They started my tradition of concert going. 23 years later & dozens of show later I still always say that it was one of the best shows I've ever seen!
I saw them in Atlanta at the Phillips Arena(I think it's now Mercedes Benz Stadium) at almost 13 the same tour thanks to my older sister. I still remember it.
I'm a 41 year old straight black man and I, without no hesitation, will say that I'm a huge NSYNC fan. Their music and choreography was addicting. I think one of the reasons they were successful was not only because of their music and choreography but they fit the description of the ideal boyband and click together like puzzle pieces. Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, LFO, etc had great music too but they just lacked some things that NSYNC didn't. The standard number for a boyband is five and although Backstreet Boys have five members, they were a pretty dysfunctional group in my opinion with A.J. McLean being an alcoholic for a long time and Brian Littrell being sick, it just seemed like that group was all over the place. 98 Degrees and LFO were good too but they just didn't fit the description because they didn't have the standard number of five members.
BSB was and is not dysfunctional even in the least. Sure, yes members like AJ, Brian and even Nick each had problems that they were faced with throughout the course of the band's run that has no doubt been nothing short of successful. But it was in those moments and more that they were at their strongest not for themselves but for each other. And that is why they are still going strong 30 years later. They are no longer a 'band' of friends, now they are a family of brothers. Always there fot one another. Always have been. Always will be. Now, I like *NSYNC too but they didn't last because 'some' not all were no longer about the group and only about themselves. And when the problem(s) arose that ultimately ended the band, they couldn't come together and progress to find their way back to 'togetherness' again and that's why they failed to keep going. So again, I like *NSYNC but I am sorry to say that they were not better than the Backstreet Boys or even 98° for that matter. Sure, they had a long hiatus themselves but they did come back together and are doing it again. Sadly, *NSYNC still cannot figure that out. Making them far from the "ideal boyband". So could you really aay that they " clicked together like puzzle pieces". No, honestly I don't think so. They didn't have that togetherness or 'clicking' when it was needed most. IMO, I blame Justin for the band's failure and still current inability to reform and come back together perhaps stronger than ever. His solo career in both music and film is still clearly much more important to him as it was very much back then as well. Bottom line, BSB has had and still has what it takes to withstand the test of time. Don't forget '30 years' now. When the going got tough *NSYNC crumbled while BSB got stronger! 😉😏 P.S., A band, group or 'boy band' is not defined by how many members it has but by the amount of cohesion that they not only are able to build with one another as well as how well it can be sustained and maintained throughout the course of their existence. And that my friend is what determines the longevity or how far they can go in their careers as a 'boyband', group or band. Or atleast is one part of it but the number of members however is not....lol 🙂
@@sAteXan21 BSB probably isn't dysfunctional now but in the late 90s early 2000s they were, but when NSYNC was together, they never really had any problems, atleast that was brought to the public eye other than the stuff with Lou Pearlman. Backstreet had some good music in their prime but they weren't messing with NSYNC. NSYNC just had that it factor for boybands which is why their popularity skyrocketed. They didn't last because from the time they started their careers in 1995 till 2002, they were touring nonstop, doing shows, focusing on music and for the most part were burnt out. That's why no one else in the group, other than Justin, really deals with music anymore. I know JC was a judge on that one talent show that was on tv and I think he at one point was working with other groups but that was about it. I give props to Backstreet because yes they laid the foundation for other boybands in the 90s but their biggest mistake was not doing the Disney Special that opened the door for NSYNC. If they had done that show, they could've controlled the 90s. I just think in the few years that NSYNC was together, their popularity outshined Backstreet's popularity all because NSYNC capitalized on Backstreet's mistake. NSYNC will get back together one day and I'm pretty sure of it. They're situation is highly identical to the Michael Jackson and The Jacksons. The youngest member, who just so happened to be the most popular, wanted to do their own thing but eventually MJ did come back and perform with his brothers at the 30th anniversary show in 2001 so I think something like that will happen for NSYNC and when it does, it will definitely outshine BSB.

I am so SO sad that I may never get the chance to see a full NSYNC concert. They are forever my faves and I'm praying one day a tour is announced for my little 10 year old self. 🙏🏻
I listened recently to Lance’s interview with JC from a couple years back,. He asked him what he thinks NSYNC would sound like today if they had kept making music. JC said he genuinely can’t know because it would have to be organic and honest, but that he thinks the fans would have a certain expectation of what NSYNC sounds like and he doesn’t think he can do that anymore. It sounded like JC thinks he’d have to go backwards to make us happy if they regrouped. I wish they knew that while playing the hits would be amazing, I think fans that grew up with them would LOVE the evolution. I just love their voices together, the R&B/dance influences, and it would be SO interesting to hear what they’d come up with now after 25 years of music coming after them (which my some of it THEY inspired).
I preferred NSYNC to backstreet boys and saw them in concert for "no strings attached" it was amazing. Back then it was rare for artists to come to Cincinnati Ohio, so it was my first concert
My fav ❤ boy band growing up ! I got to see them at the Hollywood bowl in California as teen and I promise it was one of my best memories! Today's kids will never understand the excitement back then! I'm glad they are all still doing good !
Grown up in the late 90s/2000s, I was never an N’Sync fan, preferred BSB. But this definitely brings back memories, and happy to see some N’Sync members are comfortable to be this honest
I am 44 and from Europe. I still remember the day when I first saw these guys on a German music channel. Since that moment I was a huge fan. I had all their faces on my wall, bought every cd they released and taped everything starring with them on tv 😂 haha. I was so happy for them when they finally got the break in their own country too. But after that they appeared less in Europe and saw them less in tv. Back then there was no internet, couldn't watch american channels.,etc. So now after 20 smthing years, thank to internet I can still watch the old shows back, and still a fan! I wish Justin didnt appear ashamed of where he started his carreer, because it def seems like he is....😢
My sisters were more Backstreet New Kids fans I was more NSYNC because the first song I heard was Bye Bye Bye from them and I was HOOKED! I literally went to Toy’s R Us and bought all their Barbie’s! Music these days is literally ridiculous and some of these younger generations literally don’t know what music is let alone what sound they like. NSYNC was mine and still is my own sound. I must have This I Promise You stuck in my head every single day. ❤
My biggest regret is that I didn’t fight harder to go to the Celebrity Tour after going to the PopOdyssey tour. My mom said it was just a second leg and she wouldn’t let me get a ticket. I’m SO happy that the Ft. Lauderdale show was posted a couple years ago, it’s a perfect encapsulation of who they were. I wish they could go back out with that show NOW, fresher and with a different energy, rather than at the end of a long few years and 2 insane tours. It totally makes sense that they were burnt out, but they’re so talented musically and I think they have so much more to offer the world.
Dead on with the disney special. That's when I first heard of them and I watched that. Man ...so long ago I can still remember me and best friend in my living room watching it lol
im so glad i grew up with these guys...i love both bands you could really tell they cared about their fans and they had justin jc and lance was super cute and heart throbs ...
I used to dream to meet these guys so bad. They were the first boyband that I liked every single song they produced They were amazing and I was fighting with my friends because all of they liked backstreet boys better.I liked backstreet boys but n'sync for me were and still are the best boyband of my time.
Admittedly, I was a BSB fan at first but then I heard *NSYNC, and had to choose… chose *NSYNC. And I have been choosing them every time, NO REGRETS EVER!!
I had there poster up on my bedroom wall at college I got in to boybands a bit late I had all there concerts and all there albums those were some of the happiest moments in my life thanks for the memories
Its funny to me that Lance got the most criticism for his looks and appearance back when they were a group. People always noticed him last. When he came out has gay there was some back lash too. However, Lance aged the best out of all of them. Its his turn to shine. No hate towards any other members, i believe their all fathers and still look very good. Ps. Nsync brings back great memories. Love them
Really? After Justin and JC, I think Lance was 3rd in regards to what the girls were into, if not Joey. The one that got the least admiration for his looks was Chris.
@@sharonjo7630 I'm talking about at the hit of their career in nsync, back in the day. Ppl were all about Justin or JC. N after wards some for Joey. It was was Lance and Chris last, your correct. Im not speaking about my personal opinion, just what was going on and popularity of members based on their looks. Today I'm saying Lance aged the best out of all of them but he became a father last too and he also works out. Justin still workouts because he's still an active artist. PS. Back street boys are still touring and their all in shape, other than Nick because he's a new father and gained weight but he's been working out/ touring.

@Tamara Jay I was referring to the height of nsync as well. There were girls lusting over him. I just don't know if he was more popular than Joey or the other way around.
I think that Lance was the laid back one instead of the southern one even though he came from a southern state . And I loved NSYNC before I fell in love with the BSB boys but I never had NSYNC posters on my walls just in the magazines I would by and keep in there
Anyone remember the MTV movie and series 2Gether? 😂 “There are 5 types in every successful boy band: heartthrob, reassuring older brother, young dewy eyed kid, bad boy, the shy one.” For them that would be: JC, Joey, Justin, Chris, Lance 😂
I love both BSB & NSYNC. I was a fan of the MMC so I was following NSYNC too. I saw them in Toronto at the Pop odyssey tour. Took my Mom. She regrets it now. 😅 But it was good memories as I lost her last June.
That would make no sense being that the majority of the lead choruses were sung by either Justin or JC, and supposedly JC is against reuniting as well.
@@sharonjo7630 It would make plenty of sense. Justin’s leads could be performed by Joey and/or Chris if they did another tour without Justin. If they did another album, again Joey and Chris could share leads with JC. Will it ever happen? Most likely it never will. But if they did do anything without Justin, they would be just fine without him.
Awww ❤ OMG I remember being like 10 or 11 when NSYNC, Britney and Christina came out! Those times were nostalgic! I would play their CDs on repeat for days! I would record their music videos on my moms VCR all the time lol ahh memories 🥺❤😊I miss those days! 🥺 Thanks NSYNC for y’all’s music that was part of my teenage years and also listen to today! *NSYNC will always be my favorite boy band ever! 😢😊😊❤❤
NSYNC will forever remain in the hearts of many, but I have no hope they will ever have another onstage reunion. Lance, Joey and Chris are the only ones who seem to care anymore.
It's because it would be a major payday for them. Justin doesn't need the money. The fact that Chris admits his wife likes to buy scratch off tickets is telling. And I recall how Chris, years ago, was on a reality show where he joined together with former boy band members of other groups and was trying to create some "mega boyband" or something.
I remember camping out overnight at a warehouse with my cousins to get tickets to their concert. I was in the 8th grade, after the concert we went to SF to a club to for the after party. 😂
Love you Joey, Chris and Lance 💓 I never thought less of you just because you guys wouldn't usually sing lead, I always knew you three were the foundation the group was standing on. JC and JT wouldn't have made it as a duo
God i miss those days where there was no social media and everyone along with their mom and grandma was using AOL. Remember there were promos for certain albums and you had clips to listen to? And there were certain codes to put in the AOL chats to play the music😂
I was sad when Nsync stopped doing music. They were only together for 7 years. Backstreet boys and new kids on the block been together longer than Nsync, and they still doing music. Even when Kevin left the BSB for a while, the group still went on with music. Nsync still could've done the same. JC could've taken over lead since he sings lead anyway.
Where are JC and JT?? I’m glad Lance, Joey, and Chris are still speaking up about their rise to fame. I saw Joey on the masked singer and it was a lot of fun to watch him as the rabbit!
I’m still interested in more Lou Pearlman information!! That doc boy band con could have had another hour!! Getting more people to add to it now after seeing how well it was received a part 2 will work!
When I saw Chris Kirkpatrick name on the screen I subconsciously hummed that Eminem song that goes something like "Chris Kirkpatrick, you can get your ass kicked worse than them little Limp Bizkit b*******." I don't know why 🤷♂.
Nsync is the only music I can listen to that takes me out of my mind and just for a little while make me forget my trauma. Justin and jc need to let their ego go make a new album and just go on tour😭
I just.. I just want a Time Machine. I was too young to fully experience them during their time. But I would give anything to see them live. They need to reunite like bsb 🥹

I am so SO sad that I may never get the chance to see a full NSYNC concert. They are forever my faves and I'm praying one day a tour is announced for my little 10 year old self. 🙏🏻
I was obsessed and now I adore them on a different level. Love joey. Growing up is going from JT to joey 😭😂😂
I feel old now, back in my college days waaay back... NSYNC , was very very popular! 😇
Chris's word are very emotional ❤
Love *NSYNC forever! 😍
I will always love NSYNC. #JCFanForever
I love them I remember listening to them when I was a teenager. I still listen to them now In my 30;s
It was the Disney Channel concert that made me a fan. I immediately reconized JC from Mickey Mouse Club and JC was one of my favorites on MMC.
Lance was my favorite 😂.

Joey has the best attitude & personality!!! Love him
incredible how one song can trigger memories of your teeange years. an age where you feel everything was possible
Those were the days when we wait for new songs on the radio, cos that’s all we got, good times
Dope! I loved *Nsync!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤ they were the best i had the vhs with about 5 music videos...i was soo stoked.
I had so many posters and magazines 🥰
I Miss *NSYNC so Much
I think that Lance was the laid back one instead of the southern one even though he came from a southern state . And I loved NSYNC before I fell in love with the BSB boys but I never had NSYNC posters on my walls just in the magazines I would by and keep in there
Anyone remember the MTV movie and series 2Gether? 😂
“There are 5 types in every successful boy band: heartthrob, reassuring older brother, young dewy eyed kid, bad boy, the shy one.”
For them that would be: JC, Joey, Justin, Chris, Lance 😂
I auditioned for that 3x! rapped, danced, and....couldn't sing well enough. I was mallibu's most wanted back then
Yeah. I remember that one kid that was in the group and he had some type of illness and died
No I don’t remember.. but, I Know My Calculus
I used to think and still believe now that JC would eat Justin alive vocally lol. Never understood why he didn’t have a successful solo run himself.
I love their relationship 🙌🏾❤️ a true brotherhood
Does Justin not give a shit about the zoom meeting 😂
Justin was so fine 😍😍😍
I love both BSB & NSYNC. I was a fan of the MMC so I was following NSYNC too. I saw them in Toronto at the Pop odyssey tour. Took my Mom. She regrets it now. 😅 But it was good memories as I lost her last June.
I’d love to see them do another album and/or tour. With or without Justin would be fine with me!!
@StubbyCub JC and Justin were the strongest vocalists of the group and the most popular. Again, wouldn't make sense...
It would never work without Justin
@@lawrencethomas9303 Yeah it would.
I used to have a crush on Joey and JC! I think they are coolest guys I knew back then along with Kevin from BSB, whom I also have a crush on
I remember camping out overnight at a warehouse with my cousins to get tickets to their concert. I was in the 8th grade, after the concert we went to SF to a club to for the after party. 😂
And just think how far y’all would have went if y’all would have just stayed together and kept going.
True that Christmas Special is what hooked me in fully.
if they did a FINAL concert..just 10 shows..they'd bank..I'd definitely go
BSB girl, but I fell in love with Joey and Chris at 90s Con- they are both so fun and funny!! Btw, ALL of the New Kids are in their fifties now 😉😆
Love you Joey, Chris and Lance 💓 I never thought less of you just because you guys wouldn't usually sing lead, I always knew you three were the foundation the group was standing on. JC and JT wouldn't have made it as a duo
God i miss those days where there was no social media and everyone along with their mom and grandma was using AOL. Remember there were promos for certain albums and you had clips to listen to? And there were certain codes to put in the AOL chats to play the music😂
I really wish they would do a reunion tour. I know Justin isn’t interested, but man it would be great.
JT is a primadonna. Not sure about JC.
I went to high school with Joey Fatone, and one of my friends played the love interest in their first music video.
Lance out of all of them turned out super handsome
Man this is bringing back memories ❤️ nsync
Nsync is the only music I can listen to that takes me out of my mind and just for a little while make me forget my trauma. Justin and jc need to let their ego go make a new album and just go on tour😭
JC??? it's ALLLLL JT who doesn't want too
I feel like JC was the one holding it up but it's definitely not an ego thing.
i feel like we do not discuss enough how difficult it is to do serious choreography and fully sing at the same time
they all need to do a podcast like once a month or something. I would watch it
I need a reunion tour. Stat!
I just.. I just want a Time Machine. I was too young to fully experience them during their time. But I would give anything to see them live. They need to reunite like bsb 🥹
I still have their cds
*Nsync for LIFE! ❤❤❤
NSYNC at Aloha Stadium in 1998 the best year ever
I will always love n'sync ❤
Hello there Nsync... please come to India meghalaya shillong we are looking forward to your performing please 🙏😊I'm your biggest fan it remind me of my school days when I listen to your album Love India shillong
Geez, I would do anything for a reunion!
