Never thought I'd see a Labrynth deck being showcased on this channel, while not expected I like the switch up from classic decks. Also, those mirror matches were mad with the number of chain links 😲 I imagine we'll be seeing a whole lot more of Labrynth and not much else in the upcoming event
I don't know if it's even possible at this point, but my dream is building a deck that doesn't rely on any archetype to win, because, for real, being forced to follow the "meta" in order to keep competitive is really depressing.
@@ByakkoSLTrue. The problem is that Komoney made certain archetypes obscenely powerful with the support they gave them that other archetypes pale in comparison. Otherwise, every archetype would be playable without floodgates or powerful cards from the op archetypes.
Yugioh is an archetype based game gone are the days of one of every good card, cos thats the only alternative there has been, one of every good card and 3 of a really generically good card. Like armed dragon. You just cant avoid it, and you still get allot of choice building these decks.
Once you get past gold rank, you basically have to use a meta deck. It’s possible to rank up with a non “meta” deck but it really depends on the archetype
Could u possibly make a black rose dragon deck? I know its not meta but i wanted to try to have fun. I tried to make one myself and lets just say it didnt end good😂 if u dont want to i understand yugioh is meta controlled right now, so if u dont i dont blame u
I love labrynth but since i want to play my Dogmatika Alba Zoa Deck its really hard to not hate it when im constantly queuing into a deck i have no counterplay against.
Honestly think the metta is in the best place its been in a while, now not just one or 2 top tier archetypes but like 5+ all with different strategies.
Funny I have only played againts 4 lab decks since update. Plat 1 is filled with Branded Despia/Spright/Tear 99% of the games. And the 2 Lab players rage quitted cause my Naturia Bamboo hard counter 80% of the deck.
I wouldn’t be surprised if many people you played against or that will play the loaner deck in the upcoming event will get the achievement for “5 more or more chains”
we need a counter deck i vsed them about 10 times since the update and won only one time i have super poly evenly matched and bystials but like god dam that deck has so much gas i just cant beat em
As much as I like the concept of the Labrynth deck and it's lore, it's incredibly annoying and excessively used so much in Master Duel. I always lose to that deck even if I have a Dark Magician Deck or perhaps a decent synchro deck, but I found out that the dark Elemental Hero archtype deck is recommended to face a Labrynth deck because it can limit the amount of plays that a Labrynth deck is striving for and also has some very OP effects if you can bring out your fusion summoned monsters early and negate the welcome Labrynth or the Labrynth Labrynth field spell
@@Grax27I don't think there is much to it tbh. As far as I know, it's just about lady Lab trying her best to prepare traps for the knight in Welcome lab art, she'd get sad when the knight didn't show up

@@AngelofDeath-Y2K surprisingly, this deck is not that hard. I'm using the loaner deck from the event and I won almost all the time. I only lost when i'm make stupid mistake. I think i had never ever use any extra deck too..

Not every "archetype" deck is meta.
If your idea is to reach highest rank without using meta, then it's tough luck. It's still possible as long as you just using 'meta' floodgate

I beat full labyrinth with dinonorpha labyrinth, it counters all of labyrinth monster on the field and they can’t attack me
Both sweat decks and sad if u use them
Dinomorphia actually takes skill unlike branded or bystial
