The only thing I wish is that we could have heard some of the stories from your friend that lived in Corner Brook as the story he started said so. Maybe time for a Newfie yarn/story time video. I really miss ice fishing with the old man. Don’t really feel like going alone, so I haven’t gone in a long time. Glad to NOT see those fancy, expensive mini fishing rods they sell for ice fishing nowadays. What you guys are using are perfect. We used grubs to tip our hooks though. We always found once ice up came, the dish turned off worms a bit, but they loved grubs, or the eye balls of caught fish.

We made the old style door stop fishing poles with hockey stick handles and dowel rods. Worked a charm. 👍🏻
