A correction around 2:45, fellas: 12:1 air to fuel ratio doesn't mean 12 parts fuel per one part air - it means 12 parts AIR to one part FUEL. Huge difference ;)
I was about to comment!
Also gasoline is 14.6-1, not 12-1
@@ThePower1037 Technically yes but under load and particularly with boost 12:1 is safer
@@ThePower1037 The air:fuel ratio of gasoline is variable depending on a lot of parameters. It's not a set number, which is why it's a ratio ;)
@@Zaudunyani You're correct about the ration being variable, but that's not why it's a ratio. That's why it's a variable and not a constant. It's a ratio because there are two substances being compared (in this case by volume).
One small step for mankind, one big leap for little red.
LMAO. 😂😂😂😊

This is honestly one of the greatest comments I've seen in a while. I felt it... spiritual stuff you know.
Lil Red .
To the MOOOOOOON!
As if Donut wasn't already my favorite channel, you guys had to go and make the final version of Little Red look like Kaneda's bike from Akira. I absolutely love it.

These editors are doing an amazing job
The Tom Scott clip got me
Lol, I would have to say the complete opposite this video. A lot of things were out of order. And they kept showing footage from previous episodes as new footage as if they just did it.
God I love this hairbrained hold-my-beer kind of sh*t! After this is done, you guys have to do a hi-low motorcycle build.
This ^
Hi-Lo MC builds plz
Or a mini bike build off against cars and cameras
Didn't they flip high drift car? 😂
Hi Lo 2010 Yamaha R1s
I’m surprised by how much I’m learning off of a Walmart bike build 😂 keep up the great vids!!
Like air n fuel ratios
We need more Jimmy in the garage. He has that kid-in-the-backyard-building-a-sketchy-go-kart-with-a-turbo energy.
I was shocked by the minimal effect of the aero. Based on the looks of the on/off I assumed it would a massive effect
It has a lot more surface area than just the bike and rider.
Maybe they need a full fairing, like those HPV bicycles that go 80+ mph.
Aero doesn't look right either, looks like it's causing lift at the front which is why it's wobbling
its effectively like putting a giant air dam on an 18 wheeler. try to make something heavy and huge aerodynamic, doesnt work very well.
The added weight didn't offset the gain in aero either.
SINGLE GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT
Guinness where are you😂
You know they make drag mini bikes and small shops in la build extended drag frames, I've seen them do 110+ mph so look more into mini bikes there's a whole community
Love your freakin name on here! That deserves an award all by itself!
😂😂😂😂😂👍💯👍
@Bikedoctor_1 yeah but the whole point of this is to get a walmart bine to 100 not a mini bikr
Dude. This could become a kit.
6:19 Yo that editor knows some classic TH-cam Poops.
Watch me swooce right into that like button
The Akira decals are hilarious and awesome. Can't wait to see how fast this thing actually goes!
You're like the only person that recognized it😊
I'm not even a bike guy and this is some of the best content you've ever produced. You guys have always been great but you are absolutely crushing it lately, keep it up! (Also more tool party please, I don't want to see that one wither and die).
Forreal! Tool party is the best!
Hope Mickey is at the track. Win or lose.
Nolan wearing a Mindforce shirt confused the shit out of me. Lol Love this little series
5:11 the regular show sound effect was golden lmao
Bro said let talk
@@WandileTlaleane for real lmao
A smaller tire will require less torque to spin but that's for acceleration. Purely for top speed, a larger tire will allow for a theoretical higher top speed. Each revolution will be more distance. It will just take longer to get there
Yep, hence why truck speedometers are off when you lift them and put larger tires on. I think they should have gone with narrower, taller tires.
@@amorton94yup, I put 20s on my car, and they changed the speedo by 5mph at 70 so technically I'm doing 75 when it reads 70, the overall diameter change was 2 inches. Here on this video they changed about 2 inches or more, so they lost a decent amount with small wheels
here i am thinking the nubs have less road contact and therefore less friction overall. a thinner tire does make sense because you are shedding some weight. smaller and slicker make less sense to me other than more control area for the slick tire.
Spoked wheels would be more light weight
Exactly. Then they gear it up any way. Look at any Bonneville salt flat bike.
you need narrow/tall tires and d0 the math so 9000 rpm with the ratio of the primary and tire roll out equals 100 mph
maybe a little nitro in the meth.
The Tom Scott vaping edit made me laugh harder than it should have.
@@lent10 Look at the top left when it appears. It gives credit to both Tom Scott for the original video, and August Break for the edit.
Timestamp?
Dude same lmao. Props to the editor for that one😂

Swooce right in killed me
7:44 at least it was they guys who made it broke it and not someone else in the shop.
They had to bring Nolan in to supervise lol
2:30 YOU GOT BOOST POWER!
Loved that reference.
Desperately needs an AKIRA tribute livery! Awesome work so far guys!
Didn't even think of that till you mentioned it.
LOL at the preview for next episode, looks like someone had the same idea :D
Didn't watch it till the end?
Watch the very end again during the "next time" section. Its not exactly the same but you can see the sticker choices were clearly inspired by Kaneda's bike.
100% thought the exact same thing at 8:52
I can't describe how high quality is such a dumb video and I love it. Everything from the editing to the animations it's perfect.
Editor drops a legendary Altered Beast tidbit and I hope nobody missed it.
The little teaser with the Akira stickers... This is gonna be so cool
I feel like the smaller diameter back wheel is going to hold it back. A larger thinner back tire would maximize the distance covered per rotation but also won't be as heavy.
My thoughts exactly
It's already geared tall to reach 100mph, a larger wheel will gear it too tall to reach their goal.
@andoletube huh? The engine will hit top RPM earlier with smaller tires, BUT the top end speed will be diminished. Why doesn't every car have 13'' tires?
@@chazbennett8676 Final drive ratio is not just about tire size, it's front/rear sprocket sizes. Jerry already said the bike was geared very tall to be able to achieve 100mph, that's why he needs a push start. This talk of altering wheel size is ignoring what has been revealed about the bike in the video.
the gear ratios compensate for the diameter, but you're right about the width increasing rolling resistance.
This has been one of the best and funnest series y'all have done in a long time.
Interesting thing drum brakes can perform just as good or better than disc brakes but they can't cycle like disc so in racing etc applications they tend to fade out.
Love the episodes so far, always nice seeing different ways to skin a cat as they say
Every old school drag racer can tell you exactly that, drums are zero drag, and you don't need a booster on a car with them..always preferred them for drag.
Can I just say, y’alls editing is amazing. I love the video game, anime, cartoonish editing. Love you guys❤️🤙🏼
The most tech and knowledge in a Donut video in a long time. All for a Walmart mini bike, lol. Love it!
Man this series has been amazing. Way better than I expected man, never underestimate donut 😭🤣💪🙏
LET'S GO LITTLE RED!!!! I believe in you! 😁👍
I actually learn more about physics and math watching donut videos than i did in high school physics class. The difference in my ability to learn is crazy when i can actually apply it to a real world problem i have experience with.
aero kit looks like there is a lot of room for improvement. Should be something like what velomobiles have. 40-60% faster than regular bicycles
I dig this series, the only thing I see wrong is the reduction in tire size, you gain acceleration at the expense of top and as well as reducing the rear wheel sprocket size you lose initial torque but gain a higher top speed, there a lot of variables that go with it but that’s the rule of thumb
Love the "Power Up" sound clip from "Altered Beast" from the SEGA Genesis. the coleman is also now an "Altered Beast"
I am a 50 year old dude who absolutely loves the shite you all are doing, it makes my heart smile to see the crazy and goofy builds but mainly the comradeship of you all.
These animations be looking real good 😄
These animations look good, or these animations are looking good. Not sure why you need a "be" in there
@@clarnus3712there animations ARE looking good.

I respect the sticker choices on the preview. Kaneda's motorcycle from Akira is iconic and goes so well with Little Red.
Best series in a while guys! Love this content.
loving this, more bike stuff please as can see the sheer joy and love for it
Keep the motorcycle content coming…
This is the build series i wanted when i was 9 years old on my minibike.
4:30 Drag force increases with the square of speed. But you don't rate an engine in force, you use power (horsepower/watts). Power to meet drag increases with the CUBE of speed, not the square. So 20>100mph needs 125x more power just to meet air resistance.
I'd look at pedal-powered velomobiles for the sort of fairing you need to really cut it down. At 100mph air resistance is practically the only thing that does matter assuming the engine is geared to reach it.
this is by far the most inspirational series coming out of Donut. GO LITTLE RED!
Jeremiah a newcomer was compared against such a titan as James Pumphrey, and after some time and videos we can see that Jeremiah is also, a certified titan.
He is more into bikes though which is completely fine and I love the stuff that Donut is doing recently, maybe on time we will havea bicycle version of up to speed where Jeremiah screams "and todaaay on up to speeeeeee-- " *theme song *
Just got my motorcycle endorsement. Rewatched the used bike buying guide and first maintenance videos you guys put out. Would love to get some more 2 wheeled content to support new riders
Super cool to see them out at the same strip that Hoonigan filmed their This Vs That series!
Jerimiah saying welcome to donut, is alot better than anybody else saying it.
It's funny, because less grip is actually better for speed runs like this. And that slick absolutely has more rolling resistance due to the stickier rubber compound.
I was thinking that too. Also a larger wheel will enable a higher top speed since it gears the bike up. With a proper torque converter the bolt can take off at a lower rpm to overcome the initial torque needs of a larger tire. most 200cc mini bikes can easily go over 50mph even with stock tires
yeah you want a road bicycle tire, basically. The smallest amount of ground contact. Any contact with the ground means more friction. So you want narrow tires with a very large diameter(to change the gearing).
Y’all ever heard of the gambler 100 mini bike race? You guys should throw this little dude into that competition.
I love the idea that this is a "Wal-Mart Minibike". With everything that's been replaced, it seems like it's an entirely custom job on a Wal-Mart Minibike frame.
8:40 Nolan reppin mindforce, That’s sick!
Hey there! I just wanted to drop a comment to let you know how much I love your motorcycle content on TH-cam. It's always a thrilling and adventurous ride watching your videos. The way you capture the essence of motorcycling and share it with your viewers is truly amazing. Please don't stop creating this fantastic content! You've got a dedicated fan here who eagerly looks forward to every new video. Keep up the incredible work, and ride safe! 🏍🔥
Motorcycling Content ? LMFAO MORE LIKE SCOOTERING !
@@shannacollins4741😂
Love it dudes! I built a Coleman minibike up to go 50 mph. That was terrifying enough! 😅
I bet. Jeremiah is a madman!
As well but used the stocks tires.. got to 48mph and the death wobble was enough for me!
9:00 alternate names for the bike: lil pokey, lil stabby
I hope you plan on changing your sprocket combination because that will definitely help you get to your top speed of 100mph because as it sits I think that is one thing that is holding you back from reaching that goal and on alot of these swaps and builds like this alot of people overlook that and just go with the stock sprockets but they are as crucial as the gearing ratios on a car build
you guys are absolutely amazing and the graphics in this video is top notch! keep it up!
You should just find a large slope that's much easier i guess 😂
Whoever your editor is give him or her a raise this is amazing editing. Very unique and styalized not just effects spam like half of TH-cam videos nowdays.
I know next to nothing about cars/motorcycles and I still watch every one of donut's vids with rapt attention and laughter 😆 you guys are really funny and good at what you do. Looking forward to next episode!
Putting my guess at 88mph 😁 Don't think it has the beans to hit triple digits in my experience but maybe the aero will surprise me! Can't wait for next episode :).
fast enough to turn back time, is plenty fast
I’ll take the under. Those fairings are gonna fall off at speed from vibration.
Yeah, there's a colossal difference between 80 miles an hour and 100 miles an hour.... I wouldn't want to be on the Chinese thing at 100 miles an hour.
I'm betting it speed wobbles hard once it gets to highway speeds and he bails. The steering geometry is all set up for low speed maneuverability- not stability. But maybe I'm wrong. We can come back to this comment string later and congratulate who ever is right
I see it absolutely getting around 85+, 88 feels like a good number.
Today is a good day. Let's go Donut!!!
Got off work, rode my motorbike home, turned on yt, saw this and whispered "yessss" to myself n plopped down on my bed 😂 these videos are a vibe n a half
This like the reboot for “the worlds fastest indian “ and i love it
the graphics in the video are amazing! Good job editor!
Super suspense! Can’t wait for the final episode , probs push 120mph easy with that sick aero 😬. Good luck and god speed 👍
Only 18hp and still very bad aerodynamics, it needs thinner almost bicycle tires and a full shell to make it go 100mph
@@miltonulm5102 Mike is that you?
@@joedirt3643 no
@@miltonulm5102 you're right, considering what the computer simulation said I don't expect it to hit 100 mph.
@@mikhailjairnisbett441 around 70 would i guess
First off: kudos to the effort.. then second, all I can think about is loss of gyroscopic stability/influence from the smaller/fatter wheels/tires - I'd be all about largest diameter - and skinnier (think like a ten speed road bicycle).. and a steering damper for literally ANYTHING over .. I dunno.. ~50mph (?)
Rock on mates.. be safe !
The Akira style n placed stickers on lil red at the end looks sick. Can't wait for the finale, shout out to my fellow Florida man at Donut
I haven't read anything in the news about TH-camr getting killed on a modified Coleman minibike so I'm going to assume this ends with some kind of success.
love this serie keep it up
So glad your doing it safe and right for medics and shi bud good one yuh bro
I love this series! I wish I could "like" it more time.
I wonder if there’s a way to put a multi gear set up on it so you can track it later lol
When this is done let's see some real motorcycle content? Still think Jeri doing a MoneyPit bike would be badass.
I did not realize how badly I needed this content before I got it. Thank you Jeremiah for making Donut make motorcycle content

Intro with a Kirby Air Ride reference? I'm more than invested now!
Mickey is shivering his timbers right now
Harry and Loyd needed this for their trip to Aspen 😂
Can’t wait for the final part
I advise you to put a bigger and narrower wheel since you need the lowest possible friction resistance and since you have such a high gear ratio you would not have traction problems. For example, the MotoGP bikes have wide tires only because I have to bend in corners otherwise they would all put narrow tires as was done in low engine capacity races. 🙂
These videos are dope bro, you guys should do something with dirt bikes and quads next!
2:29 love the Infamous 2 reference there when you showed the methanol
