yes actually my mom has husky dogs and she saves the hair from brushing them and when they shed (: i think i could spin the sheep hair but it would be thick and scratchy. could make good rugs though. but i also want sheep for the soft wools ;)

raising sheep are so fun i used to have 3 at one time i miss them so much good luck !!!!!
if you don't see them, put some classifieds up asking for hair sheep, most states have a breeder for katahdins due to their increased popularity.

you know you can spin hair right? like shed hair sheep hair, they do it with dog and cat hair, can't see why sheep hair wouldn't work.
