Wanna hear Waddy totally killing it w/Linda? Look up the concert film from Offenbach, Germany 1976. Andrew Gold, Kenny, Dan, Mike Botts are all here too and it’s just a killer set! I learned something new here: the solo on Oh Sherry is in fact Waddy. Of all the hundreds of times I’ve heard this tune, never once did I feel that a sax solo should have been in those spots. So, Waddy’s instincts were spot ON there.
The greatest talent that stands out with these guys is their ability to create memorable parts in quick succession. Looking forward to see the documentary.
If you haven't seen it yet, TIF is everything someone who loved that period of music could imagine. Not just the hows & whens of the guys meeting, then playing together, but the apparent appreciation/love they have for each other. Road dogs of the highest order. Stars in the musical firmament. Sad to learn TIF's doc. didn't make the Grammy shortlist. imho it's deserving of that recognition, but I'm biased.
The interview was too short, because their careers are incredibly awesome. But the contents here is just a small taste of the class these guys have. If you haven't checked out the individual careers of the members of Immediate Family you owe it to yourself to do if you're really interested in music. After you checked their careers, then check your albums to see if they appeared on them.
The artists they have played with tells you everything you need to know about the brilliant qualities of these musicians ❤
My love for these four musicians knows no bounds. I cannot put into words how much they and their music have meant to be.

I would never have said "biggest personalities" when in fact, these three ARE some of the biggest CONTRIBUTORS to modern music.
