I have been the biggest critic of Aljo throughout his career, but he's handling this loss like a true champion. Nothing he's saying sounds like excuses or falsehoods. He simply sounds human, and you can't really criticize that. He's a class act, man.

@@dannytran1587 I have always merely critiqued his fights. I never believed he was the best bantamweight ever. However, I must admit that he does contribute to the villain narrative, and he has made some questionable statements about his own victories. Consequently, I didn't anticipate him behaving in this manner following a loss like this. Nevertheless, that's all it is-an observation. My feelings towards him remain unchanged; I neither like nor dislike him more than I did before.

It takes a special kind of guy to be knocked out in front of a crowd chanting “fuck you” and still carry themself with dignity and positivity. I always thought he was unfairly criticised, but after this I think he’s one of the few true role models in this sport.

I’d say I’ve been fan of Sean since like 2020 and I wanted to see him as champion but I kid you not I couldn’t root against aljo he never deserved the hate he got. He’s so much more likable than someone like Usman or Izzy. Even if his title reign isn’t respected he’s beat so many people at bantam weight, he deserves respect

Gotta say Sterling is a class act. I think he might have underestimated O'Malley a little bit in calling him a fraud. Been watching Sean's rise through the years and you could see he had the tools to become champ. He does a great job of creating angles when counter punching and he has 1 punch knockout power. Congratulations to him. Well deserved!!
