    Thank you. I’m going to make mine in a jar as well. It beats using a large mixing bowl and then having to transfer the finished product to the jar. One less large dish to wash.

    So clever removing the yolks with a bottle! Nice video ... can I use Extra Virgin oil or does it need to be Avocado? Mayo looks great. Thank you!

      That means it didn't emulsify properly. You might have added the oil too quickly or the whisk wasn't on a fast enough speed or both. It also helps to mix the yolks for 10-15 seconds before streaming in the oil. Also, if the emulsification breaks you can try adding an extra yolk or add 1-2 teaspoons of boiling water to the base and mix it up again-- the water can help firm up the mixture since emulsification is the binding of a water-base to oil. Hope that helps :)

      also check the egg yolk and oil's temperature are in room temp, not from the fridge...

      Same here! I just made egg n' oil soup, but to be fair I make great mayo alot & I still get failures. Sooo i'll give it another shot & you should too!

    3/4 or 1 cup avocado oil? Recipe says 3/4, video says 1 cup.
