- Elden Ring was the first real souls game I've ever played, it's what really made me go and play other souls games on the channel and now Shadow of the Erdtree is finally here. I'm hoping I don't rage as much as I did with the other games but either way this is the beginning of the Elden Ring arc.

He beat the boss so who cares. Summons are for pussies.
Some people like to overcome the challenge without summons and spirit ashes. Besides the health increase the bosses get from having help is substantial.my brother used summon and mimic tear and they got clapped within about a minute.
There's an indescribable feeling after overcoming these bosses alone, just you and your mettle. He's doing it without a shield which is even more commendable.

I used a mimic and a summon on the lion that fight is so hard
I was so lucky to have been able to beat the ninja guy at the first bonfire in my first encounter but I used 10 flasks to survive him.

Hold Triangle and then press R1. Or the keyboard equivalent of that. That's how you two hand weapons.
Too many people like fr getting mad and leaving bad reviews cuz the DLC is hard
Ik some people have performance issues thats fair but complaining about the difficulty is WILD
The DLC is locked behind optional endgame bosses, some of the hardest in the base game FOR A REASON
They added the fargments to buff yourself FOR A REASON
These bosses are no different to Margit/Morgot
Just some bigger health pools and higher damage
BECAUSE THEY ARE ENDGAME+ BOSSES lol
I hope youre havin fun with it, dont let it get to you bruh and dont limit yourself to "honorable" or "non cheesy" stuff, they balanced the DLC around people who said the base game was way too easy and the devs are of course assuming any sain person is gonna use every advantage and tool they put in the game, if youre dying 50-100+ times on a boss swallow your pride and use some summons, some fragments, some buffs, some magic etc
That was sadly the second easiest remembrance boss

They outdid themselves with the boss design here. On par with the DS3 DLC.
Just letting you know (ps light spoilers) the final boss of the dlc makes everything especially the final boss in the actual game looks like a joke

I can see the string influence in Afro at least, never watched Zanny. But regardless, the commentary seems like this guy’s genuine character - to just be himself and enjoy the game he’s playing. To say somebody is a knock off anything is offensive. Saying “no offense” beforehand doesn’t just negate that
I can't even describe how incredible this expansion is. It's so wild... Between the enemies, the weapons and spells, the level design, the puzzles, the dungeons... it's all so phenomenal.
I dont think you activated your blessing also since you are using jump attacks maybe change your armor to raptor set also white mask stacks with lord of blood talisman.
side note if you didnt activate the blessing you have the right to brag about it good video
Great job on that last fight man, you always come back so much cleaner after a little break. That said, this DLC really rewards exploration with tons of runes, smithing stones, and scadutree blessings, so if you're ever feeling stuck, there's no shame in exploring around, seeing the awesome new areas, and getting stronger for a bit. I know it really helped cleanse my brain when I started getting frustrated on this boss.

FYI it's been confirmed the game AI reads inputs. And the enemy lunge animations are designed to be faster than you drink a pot. There's no healing unless you're totally out of range most of the time and the enemies are relentless. I'm loving this DLC though. I had to respec my bleed/dex build to heavy strength/endurance so I could wear the heaviest armor possible plus shield. That was kind of a game-changer for me.
I was just waiting patiently for your video and decided to buy the dlc , let's just hope I don't break my pc while finishing this ...

Two hand the Beast Claws. That way you’ll be using 1 on each hand. It’s the same for normal claws - they go on 1 hand when equipped however when you two hand them they go on both hands.

Find an enemy who uses a cool new weapon, which does insane amounts of damage. Beat the enemy, get the cool new weapon. Use the cool new weapon on another enemy. Cool new weapon does dribble-piss damage.

Would recommend investing in a +10 bloodhound fang and roughly 70 strength and dex
Its funny i had trouble dodging the lions attacks but the lighting was the only attack i dodged 100% of the time the 1st time.
If you're struggling mate getting scadutree fragments are the levelling system of the dlc so go seek out more. Its still hard but not as punishing when you make a mistake.

I beat dancing lion first try but only cause I used the summon outside his arena and a +10 mimic summon lol

Try and level up more before entering the dlc. I think you’re under level

I do hope now they move on to another bloodblorne or sekiro like game. Elden Ring was good but i felt it was a step back from the previous games which were more fun to play

The move where lion lunges the rolls like a sphere just above the ground, bounces( I guess ) then hurls his head up took me SOOOO long to get down. It got to the point I just didn't worry about damaging him during lightning phase, the goal was just to survive.

They cooked on the divine beast. Boss is mad tough, even after learning all the patterns I st8ll struggled on the execution until I barely beat him.
I guess Strength builds are the best for the DLC. Summon, Mimic tear and damage them.
