I could see a Part 1.5 with limiteds and story locks since there aren't that many limiteds to justify a gssr alone. A Part 2 one would have to be broken down into multiple parts given that it expends over many years
That timing was pretty hilarious. Was just about to start watching your video and then saw that news! It's a pretty smart addition for new players and really...for everyone. I got out of it feeling pretty good. Got my fifth copy of Illya which gave me my third NP5 SSR servant (along with Melusine and Caster Nero). So that was pretty fun and a pretty cheap GSSR.
Congrats on the USO and Tamalancer 😂 I rolled hoping for Squirtoria, Ishtar or MHX and I got one of the best archers in the Servantverse 😆 My sister on the other hand, ended up with NP2 Merlin and is trying to cope 🥲

I tried my hand at this for fun and to cover in advance for New Year's and Anni 7 GSSRs. I ended up getting NP4 Void Shiki and a bonus Fionn. Now I have to commit to her next banner no matter what.
I got MHX and I'm happy about that, I originally had Shuten as my Assassin choice but I somehow forgor (💀) MHX was there, seriously not trying to cope but I have enough SSR AoE Assassins. Now my Calamity Jane has a good teammate.
Main account got Tanamo Lancer (1st copy) and alt got Ruler Amasaka with Helena (1st copies). I was also in the boat hoping for Archer Artoria, but pretty happy with the new additions and just grateful for a 12SQ GSSR.
Got Ilya, and her Banner was up too, so figured I'd roll and see what I got. 1 extra copy of Ilya and 2 copies of Miyu later...not bad. I didn't have either of them beforehand, so I'll take it.
i was surprised with the cost to roll this banner. i guess the cost in dollars is 14,99? im brazilian and i paid 66,90 BRL (got a 3 BRL discount on google play) to roll this banner. was expecting to get a useless servant, but i actually got bride umu! im satisfied with the result...

I got scathach the most cosmic ironic pull i couldve got, i only started fgo for our gorgeous shishou, and my previous account i lost due to a freak rain storm killing an old phone spent probably a 1000$ to never get her and the only ssr on that account was jeanne ruler and on my current account i had gotten her 2 years in a row off tickets during thanksgiving after spending all my f2p sq on her only rerun before they started rerunning her every thanksgiving to no avail. Its like lasagna said how can we kick him in the dick? Oh if we give a start dash campaign 6 years late and give him his o.g. fav thatll really kick him as hard as possible 😂

I Realised I only had 2 of the servants (Jalter and Illya) so felt pretty safe trying out the GSSR. I got Iskandar which was pretty low on my list of targets but at least was a new servant. The real insult was getting a random copy of Gilgamesh Castor (Gilgamesh Archer was right there Lasengle) making him my first NP5 non welfare 4* servant.

Just spun on it, wanted Nero Bride and Iskandar as top prizes but would be happy with new units and I got two of them, first time that has happened. I got Dantes and Cleopatra. No strong use for them as I have practically every other 5 star Avenger and have King Hassan as my main assassin go to, but I can level them up to. Still hunting for Iskandar though. Like my beefy men team comps, but usually have to skip him on GSSRs as he is paired with Musashi and I have her at NP3 and she will almost certainly arrive again. But like most GSSRs, I'm content with what I got, not getting top, but also not getting the worst either.

He may be NP3, but my answer is "OH FUCK NO". The only compromise here is if he's not the only SSR to show up. Mixed feelings though because I might not burn that copy if it was the only one. "Unneeded/unwanted": All at NP5 are Ishtar, Gil, Scathach, Dantes, and Jalter. Moreover, Ishtar and Jalter have already given me USOs before. While more copies equals more coins, I don't have many 120 targets and none of them, other than Jalter, are desirable at the moment. Next is the "commit tier" and by herself is Shuten Douji. She's at 4 copies, 'nuff said. The next is " One more copy, please" tier. Raikou at 1 copy, Da Vinci at 1, Squirtoria at 1, Shiki at 1, Okita at 1, Merlin at 1 (but also spite burnable), MHX at 1, Kintoki at 2, Amakusa at 2, and Ilya at 3. Squirtoria at the top of that list. Next and at top tier, would be "First copy/the Precious" and all by herself, is Cleo. She's dodged me so much that she's behind only Brynner as the most expensive servant I've gone for. She dodged me in all of her banners for the past 3 years already. The recent dodge was because the pity system/LB 5.5 update was implemented literally the day after her banner ended, and all of the gold servants I got during her banner were literally Stheno. She honestly could fall into a spite burning tier if I get a duplicate copy (I won't, but that's the vibe). She's also the absolute last servant my original account had before I lost it with that phone breaking. Overall, there's at least there's a chance of something.

24 dollars for 2 duds, i just cant see spending money on that. But people keep throwing their money away like beaten wives to their abusive partner who constantly puts them down with an occasional reward every year or 2.
NP2 Amakusa is very nice. His NP strips buffs, including Damage Cuts, Evade & Invul, before doing damage, unlike Medea, who only removes buffs afterward (she should get a interlude/rank up to fix that). That'll come in handy with certain CQ where the bosses spam annoying buffs.
I was aiming for Gil or Ishtar coz I lack AOE Archers or Jalter for Boss fighting and I got Squirtoria which is not that bad but she's a single target which kind of disappointing that I didnt get any AOE ones
I wouldn't mind and actually preferred to get np4 of Cleopatra cuz shes actually a really good aoe Assassin with amazing np gain and with right command codes becomes totally top tier stuff, but i got np2 Raikou which is also a really nice one to get, at least will level her starting gauge append.
Somehow I got a double ssr, gave me 2 dupes but 1 was merlin so not complaining, but the raikou I could have done without, I’d have preferred a new character
I didn’t really have anyone in particular I wanted, but came away with my 4th copy of Shishou, and Amakusa is new. Pretty neat, though now I feel pressured to go for NP5 Shishou on her next rate up
More like dolphin: Whale stuff is what gets you to invest and then reinvest repeatedly. Going dolphin just means you're giving in only a little. Until further notice, obviously, this kind of event is entirely a one-off. Unlike other GSSRs that repeat 2 times a year, you pay an even cheaper amount for a chance of at least one of the most popular servants overall, but this will not get a repeated chance next year.
I mean very VERY low level dolphin. GSSR spending is the least amount of spending you can do in the game to the point most players still consider themselves F2P if that is all they spend on.

Of on that USO. I lucked out with a Jalter (and got a random NP4 Rider Martha as the very first pull).

Somehow I got a double ssr, gave me 2 dupes but 1 was merlin so not complaining, but the raikou I could have done without, I’d have preferred a new character
I didn’t really have anyone in particular I wanted, but came away with my 4th copy of Shishou, and Amakusa is new. Pretty neat, though now I feel pressured to go for NP5 Shishou on her next rate up

More like dolphin: Whale stuff is what gets you to invest and then reinvest repeatedly. Going dolphin just means you're giving in only a little.
Until further notice, obviously, this kind of event is entirely a one-off. Unlike other GSSRs that repeat 2 times a year, you pay an even cheaper amount for a chance of at least one of the most popular servants overall, but this will not get a repeated chance next year.

I mean very VERY low level dolphin. GSSR spending is the least amount of spending you can do in the game to the point most players still consider themselves F2P if that is all they spend on.

@@amai2307 i got illya from this gssr, it was a 4/21 chance since i had shiki, scathach, shuten and illya. so now i have have np2 illya(first illya from my first gssr haha)
last gssr from ani i got a castoria dupe which was 1/5 dupe chance, but it is what it is 🥲
