Hey mate, nice video. Is roping up strictly necessary? And in what month did you hike up + where di you hike up from?

I slept and left from berghütte Hohsaas and it was end of june/beginning of july. You walk on a glacier full of serracs and crevasses so I think that roping up is necessary
