Love them both, especially the black base, but all depends on the color scheme for the individual. Think the white base would be beautiful with warm colors like red, gold, copper.
these are sooo pretty! I was wishing you’d showed the part where u take the tape off but i didn’t. Cause when I have resined my pieces, I don’t tape anything so the resin drips dry on the back of the painting… how do u prevent that from happening? I always thought if I taped the sides and then resined, I wouldn’t get the tape off or either I’d rip the resin off or something 😅 and what kind of tape do u use??
I'm sorry I didn't show that. I use blue tape from 3M. I use the heat gun to heat up the tape and then i take an exacto knife to go along the edge. I'll show it in my video on Sunday. Be on the look out.
You do such a beautiful job!!! Can you use the same resin you use on your wood, also on canvases??? IF not, what would happen to the canvas if you do?? Do you ever even use canvases??
I love watching you, especially when you use blues! How long do you wait after painting before applying the resin? Do you wear a mask with that brand? Thank you for responding!
Thank u so very much. When I’m doing resin work yes, generally I do use a mask. Let’s Resin is very low odor so I don’t even smell it anymore. I wait a week before I apply resin.
mine warp terribly as well. I let them dry for 24 hours on the cups when i'm done painting. I then move them to my drying room and I let them flat on my silicone mat. I've let them lay flat for about 2 weeks. They warping goes away. My studio temperature is about 69-70 degrees. My drying room is about the same temp, sometimes a bit warmer as it's where my washer and dryer are located so when the dryer is running the temp get a few degrees hotter.
Both great but I am also attracted to the black
Thank u so very much😊

Absolutely stunning! Can you recommend where you get your lazy susans? Happy holidays!
Thank u so very much😊 these I get from Michael’s. I get larger ones from IKEA.
Looks great….What do you do with all the paint that runs off? I am new to this craft? Do you need a face mask when using the resin
Thank u so very much😊. I scrape it up off the table, strain it and then reuse it in another pour or I let it dry for paint skins and use for jewelry
Both are beautiful. Brian how long did it take for the paint to fully cure prior to the resin?
I wait a week for the paint to dry and then I resin. This resin is cured in 48 hours to the point I’m good with shipping and selling.
When you scrape the dripped paint, does the combination of all the colours not just create a muddy colour?
My lazy susan from Michaels warped horribly. I left it on the cups to dry. Did you take yours off the cups to dry?

@ thanks. I’m trying getting the bottom wet and putting a heavy butcher block on it. We’ll see!
@@cindysmith5517 when did you paint on it?
@@Studio15Acrylics Tuesday morning
@ yes it’s gonna take about week minimum
Looks very muted and muddy need some bright colors
My friend love almost everything you make but not this .sorry but I’m always honest
Hey no worries. Art is not everyone’s cup of tea. They both sold in 3 hours. That’s the important thing next to making one of a kind art. 😊😊😆
