Not sure why you thought it looked "creepy" on the outside. A classic old Baptist church. Sad to think that it once was a place of worship, joy, baptism, salvation, weddings, etc. The video is appreciated. I always wonder what the history is of the church. Why was it abandoned, etc.
There is just something about abandoned churches....what beautiful archways and unique windows! And the remnants of the stained glass were so beautiful even in their destructed state. The hymnals were spectacular and that staircase....whoa! Love it!! Omg...that wallpaper and leftover woodwork from the pews that you found upstairs were so cool!! The outline of the Star of David in the window upstairs was hauntingly beautiful as well. This was a fantastic explore...thank you for bringing us along! Keep up the amazing work and stay safe!

Oh, wow! I thought it looked familiar. I have been in that church. They were in the process of moving it and something happened and they just plopped it down in the middle of that field and left it there. I don’t know the details. So sad.
People need to go in there and drag the stuff out of there and patch up what they can. People love to go in old churches and view stuff. A little dragging boards out and sweep and mop the floor and you would be surprised how much better it would look.

This appears to be a 100 yr old design of a Methodist Church. It appears to have been abandoned some 40 years ago. I could have been a small gold boom town which as abandoned when the mines "dried up".
So where is this? Did you do any research to find out what church it was, and when it was abandoned? Odd that there is not a road leading up to it. I wonder if, after three years, it is still standing.
Though sad to see the house of God so lonely and ignored, we will see God in heaven... God bless the souls whom walked its floors when it was needed... (which it still is). What saddens me is everything on this earth has a guardian angel assigned to it. 'Everything'! So, imagine how the angels feel for those places abandoned of God'. I wonder if even now, when you filmed, the angel remains, watching over it until called back to heaven? Once again, I wonder if those living about it ever miss it being a place of community, or if even the heart of this country has turned their backs to God. What happened to the US!?
The exterior of the church isn't creepy. It's got very cool shingle patterns which is rather rare, even for back when it was built. But- It's the sounds inside the church are creepy as heck. The noise at 3:27-3:29?? I have no idea what it really is but honestly? It sounds like a man saying "I-can't-bless-you." It's creepy whatever it is. 3:33-3:35 lady says, no, sings, "Who let the DRIFT in?"
No church is lonely, nor abandoned. It was built for a place of worship and continues that way for the angels and the spirits of the dead even without humans. The positive frequencies that was reverberated off the walls still continue to do so within another dimension. Frequencies never die, they only fade into other spectrums just as the radio frequencies from the 1920’s are still somewhere out there floating around. Really questions oneself if the technology will ever be developed from harnessing the frequencies captivated by trees centuries ago, what they witnesses, what they heard, what energies they possess.
I wonder if anyone on the nearby farm knew anything of the history of that church. The majority of history is forgotten and lost to the sands of time. It is said a person dies two deaths, first when they die & the second when the last person to know them dies. Maybe we can preserve some history for those that came before us, ourselves, & future generations.

I can tell you the year of the hymnals you found. Most look like 1956 Baptist Hymnals though there's 1940 and maybe 1975.
