Wow, wow 😮! Beautiful garden + beautiful inspiring lady. I really love your garden so much. You’ve inspired me to try planting my plants out in the open and your garden looks really matured, well arranged and maintained and loved. Stunning! ❤️💕👍
WOW I absolutely LOVE your Succulent garden Debra and I so wish I could grow my Succulents outside here in Ireland too :-) your garden is SO BEAUTIFUL :-) thanks so much for sharing and sending you tons of love and happy growing from Ireland XXXX
It depends on where you live. Here in Southern CA, aeoniums can get by on rainfall alone, but by fall they'll look awful. Winter rain will restore them and by spring they'll look better than ever. To keep them looking good year-round, water them regularly. However, if they go dormant, don't water them lest they rot. How do you know? If aeoniums haven't been watered except by rainfall, they'll stop growing and close up late summer through fall. In that case, leave them alone and be patient.
I have an aloe Brevifolia in a pot that has many pups under the main aloe. I would like to separate and replant them so I get more aloes. When is the best time to separate the pups from the mom? I am assuming early spring, correct? Will the mom die if she blooms?

Beautiful garden, could you please let me know the name of the red aloe at minute 1:08

That's Aloe arborescens, possibly the most commonly grown aloe in Southern CA.

Yes, early spring is ideal. Aloes, unlike agaves, don't die after they bloom.
❤️
