Thanks for your videos! I’ll move to Malaysia soon and trying to chose SUV for me and my family. Was surprised that it’s hard to find a car with ACC and other safety features in Malaysian market in C segment or with price 150-170k RM. Had Tiguan and wanna buy it also in KL, but understood that it’s almost impossible to buy tiggy with options that I need:( May be later this year there will be some new models, hope so
The PROTON X70 is a great option, and for your budget the Premium X comes fully loaded. Alternatively there's also the Toyota Corolla Cross with its full ADAS suite. We wouldn't recommend the Honda CR-V though for reasons Malaysians will understand. Unfortunately neither VW nor Peugeot offer a full ADAS suite for their cars in Malaysia presently.
Do we know the sales figures for the 5008 as of now. I am seriously considering this car for its uniqueness and sunroof 😊 I am drawn to this one but hope that Bermaz is running things well Also a few more things have been updated like reclining rear seats, the speed of the ICE, the desogn of the rear armrest. Deserves as updated review?
Just a comment on Continental tyres. They are quite suitable in cooler climates however here in Australia they are very average. Michelin tyres are much more suitable.
No. There's a sunshade that covers the roof completely. There is very minor heat radiating from the sunroof, but it's nothing the AC can't handle. Even in the larger 5008 the AC kept the cabin cool throughout. If you're worried about heat (or UV rays for babies & toddlers) consider tinting it for better peace of mind.
@@MalaysianMotoring Used already. If u dont put tinted, its totally hot during noon. The best to install 3M CR type tinted. And 1 more, i think u mislook 1 of the stupid things about this car. The central lock and door lock system.
Vastly different. Peugeot resale values have gone up, the newer cars don't depreciate nearly as much. Aftersales is much improved according to feedback and data collected from existing, NAZA-era customers, parts availability has largely been sorted, and dealers have better support from the distributor. So to answer your question, it's vastly different indeed.
Dah pakai. Pro - mmg best. Smua best Bodoh - central lock. Bengap... die x de lock dlm. Org dlm kete senang2 bukak pintu even dah lock. Cuma org luar je x leh bukak. Unless, ko child lock. Tapi, child lock, bengap la jugak. Ade 1 lai bengap, tapi aku lupa ape..
Brilliant review as usual, Jeremy Clarkson of Malaysia you sir. Kipidap. More car reviews pls, helping us make an informed decision.
You are my favorite Malaysian car reviewer! Keep up the good work! Love all your reviews!
I learned that the kick sensor will work if you step a bit back after the kick to prevent the lid hitting your head
One of the best reviews of this car
The back seats are SO much better than the previous one, which were a lot smaller
Thanks for your videos!

Hi
Wanna check
When u do the test drive, does it hot during afternoon due to the sunroof?

The more i read the word “Peugeot”, the more i don’t know how to read it 😂
Anyone mind sharing experience driving Peugeot 3008 after buying it. Service, after sale, spare parts, performance, fuel consumption
If you watched the review you'd see that we covered all of those topics.
The best handling Peugeot of all time is the 205gti 306 405 m16 and 406.newer peugeots has somewhat lost the plot.
In our preview drive of the 3008 we thrashed one and a 5008 up and down Genting. They handle tidily, fit for purpose.
@@MalaysianMotoringhave u not sample their country legendary elders?present days peugeots are just average in handling department.
@@pudingaomar6341, we repeat: They are fit for purpose.
No one is buying a mid-sized SUV for its handling chops.
