Giddey is useless without the ball in his hands. Coby will still be a focal point on the offense end. Zach will continue to do zach things. Will still got Vooch and his touches. Pat is the 5th option in this most likely starting lineup. How is he gonna ball out and develop when he isn't given the opportunity to do so. Remember, it took zach getting hurt for coby to show what he could do. He was given a real chance.

Him being assertive in this situation is being a me first type of player. They used him as a 3 and D guy. They aren't out there running set plays for him, letting him learn from his mistakes. They never took his training wheels off so they could chase the play in tourney. The bulls didn't allow any of their young players that kind of freedom to develop except lavine. If you are gonna reach for a project player, at least give the guy a chance to learn from his mistakes and develop, not just stand at the 3 point line.

The verdict is still out on Giddy… Can’t shoot and can’t defend. We needed shooting like two seasons ago but the pace of the game and ball movement should improve. Why would caruso be looking for his shot in the clutch? He is a defensive specialist. Our defense overall while caruso was here was average to above average, but that was while sharing the court with terrible defenders in zach, demar, and Vuc and only having one other defender to work with (ayo, PAW, pat bev). The defense was actually pretty great with him and bev doing all the heavy lifting. Without caruso, our defense would have been at the bottom every one of those seasons, no doubt. While there are some to overvalue caruso, you def undervalue him and dont understand basketball. Demar def has a lot of flaws that get overlooked, but he did provide great leadership. He grew on me, despite the fact that i never wanted him in the first place.
