We kill each other for no reason, start wars, cause harm to the environment- this is the few times where they're actually helping. They didn't kill the snake for no reason- they cooked and ate it. It would be malevolent of them to kill the snake for no reason. The snake is endangering the environment. Killing and eating it makes no difference to how wild animals hunt. If you don't understand that this wasn't cruel or malevolent in any way, then you clearly aren't old enough to be on youtube.

Florida is like a hunter's wet dream - so many invasive species (Python, Lionfish, Feral Hogs, etc) that you can hunt for free and at the same time make profit. Anybody who want's to be a professional Hunter and also help out the environment - go to Florida and get hunting!
And so many kind of invasive fish like snakehead peacock bass, carp, tilapia etc. Seems alot of fun fishing there

I own a 10 ft red tail boa and the most asked question is “what if it bites you?” Well what if your dog bites you? The snake has very little bite force and can only hang on because of the shape of the teeth. Also the teeth are very thin and sharp, it’s like getting a shot at the doctors, you don’t really feel it until you look.

I have an 8-ft long boa constrictor as a pet. The bites don't actually hurt when you get bit-- they bite so fast, you can't even register it. It's a little sore afterwards though, similar to when you scrape your knee, and there normally is a bruise since the strike has a lot of power behind it. But otherwise, it is definitely not as bad as a cat or dog bite for sure!

Man, I absolutely love and appreciate that Gordon actually goes out and experiences what it's like to harvest the meat from these animals. I also love and appreciate that he's making videos out of it and they're getting millions of views.
A lot of people in cities and suburban areas have been cut off from experiencing how meat is obtained, which has caused many of them to become oversensitive towards animals, and humanizing them in their minds. Nothing keeps you more humbled and grounded with nature than going out and harvesting your own food.
I'm convinced that Chef Ramsay could cook something from another planet into a gourmet dish at this point.
