The dragon gift, the kisses, and the marriage occur in the main timeline, not the dimensions. The manhwa ended when she was like 16 so, makes sense why it ended off like that. Little fun fact, it was stated in the novel that Lucas will always be able to find Athy even if she dies because she will always reincarnate (her name means eternal life for a reason). Even if she reincarnates in the modern world or somewhere else, he can find her again. So they’re essentially bound together, both immortal. Me too . I completed reading without sleeping at night because I started getting interested in the story. I prayed so hard for Lucas (the royal wizard) but the story ended without any further details of princess's future 🥲🥲. But guys I'm telling you Lucas must be with princess in the future 🤍No offence. To be honest, I don't like the ending of this series. It's an open ending that will make the readers go insane thinking what's really the relationship at the end. I am not sure if there's a side story or an epilogue.
The light novel is the true story and ended with athy x lucas while the manhwa adaptation offers different ending. To sum it up, the parent is light novel so you should be happy since the female lead ended with lucas : D
I know it is soooo illegal (lucas is hundreds of years old and Athy is 15 by the end of the main story) but the chemistry they share is too much and I can’t help but ship them

Lucas is not the same because he didn’t die and wasn’t reincarnated. He’s not starting over, he used hi magic to save her and the lack of mana reduced him back to the form of a small child, he’s actually still an adult.
