I can understand the complexion products being high end and other product being cheaper because how your skin and your foundation look are what makes or breaks your entire look.

I use the hourglass finishing powders to buff and it makes ur skin look radiant and flawless. I don't use them for setting under the eye tho I know they have a super white one ppl use to use for that.

I use the hourglass ambient lighting powder to buff over everything when I am done. It brings a healthy skin like glow and blends all the powders smoothly. Just a tiny bit. Buff over the whole face. ( except the eyeshadow of course)

i have super dry skin!! personally, i like to use a very very dewy foundation after a sticky primer, and then a good amount of powder. i’ve found that this doesn’t leave my skin too dry, and still lets some of the hydration show through.. i use nyx honey dew me up, l’oréal lumi foundation, and maybeline fit me pressed powder!!

Yesss!! I'm very dry and never use setting powder on my face. I use a bareminerals concealer powder under my eyes but only a little bit with a brush.
A lot of time it will be super drying when you powder, but after you use a dewy setting spray your oils come back to life and it starts feeling better!
i have normal to dry skin and i will NEVER use powders
