Michael & Joanna have excellent foot and leg speed, I don't think they are a good partnership. They lack a connection, they seem like two individuals dancing together, not a partnership. Michael tries too much to overshadow Joanna, his job is to showcase the woman. At the end of the dance, he should be presenting Joanna to the audience. Instead he walks ahead of her, leaving her in the shadow. Riccardo would never do this to Yulia. Joanna should keep dancing and find a male partner, who will give her a better competitive partnership. Just my opinion.
Craig Moore very strange opinion considering they are, as a partnership, world champions by multiple years, and as a Latin and ballroom dancer myself, their connection is flawless. And I highly doubt Joanna would want to dance with anybody else but her husband, who is in fact Michael.
Great technique, but somehow, watching different performances, they seem to make every type of dance look more or less the same. As if they use the same moves and sequences and attitudes time and time again.
Joanna channelling Celine Dion. Cha-cha is supposed to portray the character of a light hearted sexually flirtatious chasing game being played between mam and woman. It is an ultra raunchy dance I see alot of fine technical dancing here incredible foot speed, alot of posturing (hey look at me) Weird facial expressions but not alot of the authentic character of cha-cha-cha especially from Michael. For me more like Bla-Blah-Blah.
