I'm digging this weather. this is the way it was here when I was a kid in the 80's and even the early 90's

I remember January’s like this back in the 80’s when I worked in the Florida Citrus industry. The smudge pots would be lit in the groves and burn all night to protect the fruit trees from the frost. Then by early morning the irrigation systems would come on to put a layer of ice over the fruit to help insulate them.

Oh Dave, you haven't lived here long enough to remember when every winter was like this.
Snow in 77, ice on windshields, icicles hanging from everywhere because sprinklers came on, and flurries in 83.
