Do you mean power supply upgrade to amplifier? Class A and Class AB most likely. Class D will depend on what is the original power supply design. If you have something in mind, feel free to contact our dealers for further details.
I have a SN3 and use a hicap DR, how much better than a hicap is this exactly.? Or is it similar performance /improvements. I MEAN, is this more targeted for those that haven't yet upgraded? It be nice to demo this tho. Naim can get pretty expensive nice to see more options popping up. 👍🏽
We have compared to Hi Cap and Super Cap to the GN3a3 with other Naim preamps. We didn't have either the Hi Cap nor the Super Cap when we did this video last week. Contact Mike at Absolute Sound and he can tell you the difference between the GN3a3 and Hi Cap and Super Cap.

FAX550a is well built vintage receiver. Should be able to take full advantage of a FCF power capacitor upgrade.
