- Photo came out in ARLNOW that police put a lighted sign to stay out of bike lanes so pulled a few clips from yesterday's ride, which could be from any day I ride. I don’t even use the bikes lanes much then drivers get mad at me. Am sure drivers will give the sign all the attention it deserves.

Arlington should make protected bike lanes on both Clarendon and Wilson.
And then people get angry at you..... "Why aren't you using the bike lane?" Such a catch-22 scenario.
Every time I drive through Clarendon I think how annoyed I would be if I were a bicyclist. I feel like I’m in Mario Kart having to dark around all the food delivery drivers that are idling in the bike lanes. Some blocks they will be blocking both the bike lanes and car lanes. The police don’t seem to care.
That is the best quote, I am going to use that some time. Arlington gets all these awards for fitness and bike lanes, but it is a sh*t show
Police don't even do anything about it. I've seen them just drive right by.
We need better permanent infrastructure to seperate the lanes, like a concrete curb etc. Similar to the ones just as you enter Ballston.
I still think the lanes and roadway designs are better than nothing. Compared to somewhere like Tysons where it's car city freeway speeds everywhere

Riding in Clarendon is so stressful. The bike lanes are an absolute joke.
They are. The one from Courthouse to Roslyn is too dangerous to ride fast down a hill

Even those protected bike lanes on Clarendon are hella dangerous due to width and blind spots. Love the name!
