Your spotweld on allmost the highest power setting of 8 with the metal strip on the 18650 battery was not solid. I have the same spotwelder, however first practices allot with multiple angles and pressures at different power settings, i thought spotwelds were strong, but after all it wasnt. And i know in field, spotwelds came lose, on the ebike because of the use on a bike with bumps, and shocks. 😢 The quality of the welds on nickelstrips is bad. It gies better with metal strips. I will check if i have a real bicrc d20h spotwelder.
